Moving abroad or relocation
If you are moving outside the contract area, provide a copy of your new address evidence such as a tenancy agreement or utility bill. Volvo Subscription UK does not publish a fixed rule on acceptance, so include written proof and request confirmation from the Customer Relation Centre.
Applicable law: Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 for withdrawal rights when contract concluded online or off-premises.
Price increase by Volvo
If Volvo raises the subscription price mid-contract you should request the written contract variation. If the change is disproportionate you can challenge it under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 for unfair contract terms. Provide your original contract and the notice of price change as proof.
Applicable law: Consumer Rights Act 2015.
Death of the subscriber
To cancel after a subscriber's death, send a copy of the death certificate and proof of your authority to act (probate or letter of administration). Contact Volvo by email or post and request termination of the subscription.
Legitimate grounds accepted by Volvo Subscription UK
From Volvo's published terms, acceptance includes: withdrawal within 14 days for online or off-premises contracts, and cancellation of EX90 orders before delivery with refund of advance payments. Provide supporting documents such as proof of delivery status, receipts and emails.
Applicable law: Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 and Consumer Rights Act 2015.
End of commitment or fixed-term expiry
If your subscription has no end date and you pay monthly, quarterly or annually you may give notice at any time; the subscription ends at the expiry of the current subscription period. Provide your contract reference and written notice. For FlexiDrive contracts, check your specific contract for initial payment terms.
Applicable law: Contract terms supported by Consumer Rights Act 2015.
Cooling-off and withdrawal
If the contract was concluded online or off-premises you have a 14-day right of withdrawal from the date the contract is entered into. To exercise this, inform Volvo in writing and request a refund. Volvo will reimburse payments without undue delay; if services were used before withdrawal, a reasonable deduction may apply.
Applicable law: Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013.
