Moving abroad
If you move outside the United Kingdom and your Club Lloyds account cannot be maintained, you should contact Lloyds to close or downgrade the account. Provide proof of new address abroad such as a utility bill or tenancy agreement. The applicable law: Consumer Rights Act 2015 for service performance and FCA rules for banking customers.
Price increase
Club Lloyds increased its monthly fee from £3 to £5 on 2 June 2025. If Lloyds increases the fee again and you do not accept the new fee, you can close or downgrade the account. Provide written notice to Lloyds if you require a record. The Consumer Rights Act 2015 addresses unfair contract terms; the Competition and Markets Authority (CMA) scrutinises unclear auto-renewal and switching barriers.
Death of the account holder
To close an account after the death of a subscriber, contact Lloyds Bank with the death certificate and executor details. Bank staff will give instructions on next steps and documentation required under bank procedures and FCA guidance.
Legitimate grounds (accepted by Club Lloyds)
Club Lloyds cancels the Lifestyle Benefit if the associated Club Lloyds account is closed, cancelled or downgraded. If you had a paid Disney+ subscription before activating the Club Lloyds benefit, closing Club Lloyds will revoke the benefit and your original paid Disney+ subscription payments will resume. To reactivate Disney+ as the Lifestyle Benefit after a previous direct Disney+ subscription, first cancel your existing Disney+ subscription on disneyplus.com and wait 48 hours before activating via Club Lloyds.
