Web - cancel in your account

1. Go to the Dermatica website and log in to your account.
2. Open My Account then Dashboard.
3. Click Manage Subscription and choose I want to cancel my subscription.
4. Decline any discount or retention offer presented to complete cancellation.
5. Confirm the cancellation and keep the on-screen confirmation or confirmation email.
6. Ensure you make the change at least 48 hours before the next scheduled dispatch to stop the next order.

iOS and Android - app absence and mobile web

Dermatica does not publish an iOS or Android app for subscription management. Use the mobile web Dashboard to cancel as described above. If an app appears from an unauthorised source, do not use it.

Phone - when to call and what to say

1. Find a customer care phone number in your account or support email if available; Dermatica does not publish a universal phone number in its public support articles.
2. State your account email, next scheduled dispatch date and request cancellation at least 48 working hours before that date.
3. Ask for a call reference number and follow up with a support ticket to obtain written proof.

Email / Support ticket

1. Open a support request via the Dermatica Help Center and include your full name, account email and next dispatch date.
2. Write Cancel my subscription - include your reason and request confirmation of cancellation.
3. Keep the reply email as proof. If you do not receive confirmation within 48 hours, escalate to Citizens Advice or your card issuer.

3. Keep proof of postage and delivery. Allow time for processing before the 48 hours cutoff for the next dispatch.

Cooling-off (right to cancel after online purchase)

Rule - Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 you have a 14-day cooling-off period for most online contracts. Cancellation is effective when you notify the trader with a clear statement. To exercise it, notify Dermatica by the account Dashboard or by support ticket within 14 days of the contract date.

Renewal cooling-off and price increases

Rule - The Digital Markets, Competition and Consumers Act 2024 requires traders to provide a renewal cooling-off notice for each renewal cooling-off period and forbids unfair renewal terms. If Dermatica increases price at renewal and you receive a renewal notice, you can cancel during that renewal cooling-off period and receive any refund described in the notice.

End of commitment and prepaid plans

Rule - Dermatica offers prepaid multi-month plans (4, 6 and 12 months) paid up-front. Research states active payment plans cannot be cancelled while in progress; cancellation requests must be made at least 48 hours before the first plan order is due for dispatch. If you paid for a full period, available refunds depend on Dermatica terms; contact support for the exact calculation.

Adverse reaction or legitimate ground

Rule - If you suffer an adverse medical reaction to a prescription product, contact Dermatica immediately and seek medical advice. Dermatica's Help Center advises contacting support for issues with products. For refunds or prescription suspension, provide clinical evidence.

Death of subscriber

Rule - If the subscriber dies, an executor or responsible party should contact Dermatica with a request to cancel the subscription and provide a copy of the death certificate.

Before cancelling: negotiate

Retention offers - Dermatica is known to present a discount offer during the cancellation flow; research explicitly notes a discount offer might be presented and that customers should decline to complete cancellation. How to escalate a dispute

Check refunds and final billing

If you cancelled before the 48 hours cutoff the system will automatically reject the order and issue a refund within 5-10 working days. If you do not see a refund after 10 working days, verify that the bank details on your Dermatica account match your bank statement as recommended in Dermatica support. Orders already dispatched are not eligible for a refund.

Account access and medical records

Re-activation and restarting treatment

To restart the subscription, log in and subscribe again. If your original prescription has been suspended, contact support to arrange a new review with the dermatology team before restarting.
