How membership works

Members subscribe to Skillshare Premium for unlimited class access. Subscriptions auto-renew and can be purchased via the website, Apple App Store or Google Play. App store subscriptions must be managed through the respective store account.

Web - cancel from your Skillshare account

1. Sign in at skillshare.com and open Account settings.
2. Go to Membership & Payments.
3. Click Cancel membership and follow the prompts to confirm.
4. Save or screenshot the on-screen confirmation and keep the confirmation email.
5. Access continues until the end of the billing period.

iOS - cancel via Apple subscription

1. Open Settings on your iPhone or iPad.
2. Tap your name, then Subscriptions.
3. Find Skillshare and tap Cancel Subscription.
4. Keep Apple's confirmation for your records; Skillshare cannot cancel App Store subscriptions directly. See Skillshare help - app cancellations.

Android - cancel via Google Play

1. Open the Google Play Store app and tap your profile.
2. Tap Payments & Subscriptions then Subscriptions.
3. Select Skillshare and tap Cancel subscription.
4. Keep Google Play confirmation; Skillshare cannot manage Google Play cancellations.

Phone

1. Skillshare does not publish a cancellation phone number. Use web or app store paths.
2. If you find a phone number for support, ask for a cancellation reference number and follow up in writing.

Email

1. For refunds or account questions email [email protected].
2. State your account email, last four digits of the payment card, date of charge and desired resolution. Keep the reply as proof.

Post

Rule and required proof - Skillshare is a digital subscription and does not suspend for address changes only. End of commitment

Cooling-off period (14 days)

Rule and required proof - In the United Kingdom you have a 14-day cooling-off period under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013. If you began a free trial this period counts toward the 14 days. If the service started with your express consent and you accepted loss of the right to cancel for digital content, refunds may be reduced for the portion used. Before you cancel - negotiate

Retention offers - Skillshare has been known to offer a promotional retention discount such as 30% off your next year framed as a 24-hour exclusive. To request a retention offer, cancel via Account settings and when prompted choose the option to speak to offers or contact support at [email protected] and ask for any current retention promotions. Save the reply as proof.

Final billing and refunds

Cancellation stops future billing; Skillshare does not automatically issue refunds for renewals. For 7-day trial charges you can request a one-time refund within 48 hours of the charge if Skillshare has not been used since the charge. Data and re-activation

To request account data or delete your account, contact [email protected]. To re-activate, sign in and choose a plan; billing resumes when you subscribe again.
