Web - Report a Problem (step-by-step)

1. Go to reportaproblem.apple.com and sign in with your Apple ID.
2. Locate the Apple Arcade subscription entry or the purchase receipt.
3. Choose the appropriate option: cancel subscription or request a refund, select a reason, and submit.
4. Save the confirmation email from Apple as proof.

iPhone / iPad - in Settings (step-by-step)

1. Open Settings, tap your name, then Subscriptions.
2. Select Apple Arcade.
3. Tap Cancel Subscription and confirm.

Mac - App Store (step-by-step)

1. Open the App Store app, click your name at the bottom of the sidebar.

Cooling-off (change of mind within 14 days)

Rule: For online contracts consumers have a 14-day right to withdraw under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013. To exercise this, notify Apple with a clear statement within 14 days of the purchase receipt. If you request withdrawal, reimbursement will be issued no later than 14 days from Apple receiving the cancellation notice and refunded to the original payment method. Rule: If Apple increases the price, standard UK consumer law requires traders to inform subscribers and allow cancellation when a renewal notice gives a right to cancel. Evidence required: the price increase notice from Apple (email or in-app notification). Death of subscriber

Rule: Apple does not publish a dedicated death-of-subscriber policy for Apple Arcade. For account closure or subscription cancellation after death, provide a copy of the death certificate and proof of authority to act on the estate to Apple Support. Applicable law: Consumer Rights Act 2015 provisions on contract performance and termination are relevant when demonstrating change of circumstances.

Moving abroad or change of country

Rule: Apple does not publish that moving automatically cancels Apple Arcade. If the service becomes unavailable in your new country, contact Apple Support with proof of address change (utility bill or residency document). End of commitment or subscription renewal

Retention offers: research shows no public record of specific retention discounts offered by Apple Arcade. To ask for a retention offer, contact Apple Support via chat or phone, explain why you want to cancel, and ask if a promotional extension or discounted rate is available. Keep any written offer or confirmation by email before accepting a counter-offer.

Key UK consumer law

Refunds and withdrawal

Access after cancellation

Access remains until the end of your current billing cycle. After the billing period ends you will lose access to the Apple Arcade catalogue unless you re-subscribe.

Data and saved games

Saved game data is tied to your Apple ID and game developer policies. If you re-subscribe and use the same Apple ID, progress is typically preserved, but export or backup options depend on each game.

Final billing and refunds

If eligible for a refund, Apple will notify you of the decision within 24-48 hours; refunds are issued to the original payment method, and reimbursement will be completed no later than 14 days after Apple receives the cancellation notice for statutory withdrawals.

Re-activation

To re-activate, subscribe again from the App Store or Settings and the billing restarts immediately. If you used an Apple One bundle, re-enable Apple One or subscribe to Apple Arcade separately.
