Cancel Roblox Premium the easy way

Overview

Roblox Premium is a subscription that historically provided a monthly Robux stipend, the ability to buy, sell and trade certain avatar items, and access to exclusive marketplace benefits. As of 30 April 2026 Roblox replaced Premium for new buyers with Roblox Plus and announced benefit changes effective 30 May 2026. Existing Premium subscribers may retain their membership until they cancel, but new purchases of Premium are no longer available.

Who it is for

The subscription is aimed at players who want a recurring Robux allowance, access to trading and selling on the avatar marketplace, and discounts on certain items. The stated target audience is: "Users who want discounted Robux, access to exclusive in-experience benefits, exclusive and discounted marketplace items, and the ability to buy, sell, and trade certain Avatar items."

Company facts

Web / Desktop cancellation

1. Open a browser and sign in at roblox.com.
2. Click the Gear icon at the top-right, choose Settings.
3. Open Subscriptions in Settings.
4. Click Cancel Renewal and follow the on-screen prompts to confirm cancellation.
5. Take and keep a screenshot of the final confirmation page as proof.

iOS (Apple App Store) cancellation

1. Open iPhone or iPad Settings.
2. Tap your Apple ID name at the top, then tap Subscriptions.
3. Find Roblox or Roblox Premium/Roblox Plus in the list.
4. Tap Cancel Subscription or Cancel Renewal and confirm per Apple prompts.
5. Keep the Apple confirmation email or a screenshot as proof.

Android (Google Play) cancellation

1. Open the Google Play Store app.
2. Tap your profile icon, then Payments & Subscriptions, then Subscriptions.
3. Select Roblox or the relevant subscription and choose Cancel subscription.
4. Keep the Google Play confirmation email or screenshot as proof.

Windows / Amazon purchases

1. If you bought through the Microsoft Store or Amazon Appstore those memberships are non-recurring and will stop at expiry; you do not need to cancel recurring billing.
2. Check your store purchase history for the expiry date and retain the purchase record.

Email / Support ticket (when you cannot access account)

1. If you cannot sign in, contact Roblox support and provide the username of the subscribed account and proof of identity as requested.
2. Explain you need the subscription cancelled and request a support ticket number.
3. Retain all correspondence. Expect variable response times.

Postal cancellation

1. Write a registered letter including your Roblox username, email, a statement to cancel the recurring Premium membership, and send it to: Roblox Premium, South Delaware Street, 94403 San Mateo, USA.
2. Keep the registered mail return receipt as proof.

Cooling-off right (new purchases)

Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 you have a 14-day right to withdraw from a contract for online purchases of digital services from the date of purchase, with a refund if you exercise that right and the service has not been started without your express consent. Service defect or non-performance

If the provided digital service is defective, unavailable or does not perform as stated you may be entitled to a remedy or refund under the Consumer Rights Act 2015. Required proof: description of defect, screenshots, and purchase records. See Consumer Rights Act 2015, section 45.

Price increase

If Roblox increases the price at renewal in a way not permitted by contract you can treat this as a contract change and cancel. Required proof: notice from Roblox showing the price increase and your original subscription terms. Death of the subscriber

Where a subscriber dies, authorised representatives should contact Roblox support and provide a death certificate and proof of authority to act on the estate. Required proof: copy of the death certificate and contact details for the account owner. Applicable law: Consumer Contracts Regulations principles and standard estate administration rules for cancelling contracts.

Inability to access account

If you cannot log in you should contact Roblox Support with the username of the subscribed account. Roblox's support instructions state to contact them with the account username to request cancellation. Required proof: account username and any available purchase receipts. Before you cancel: negotiate

Research does not show publicly available retention discounts offered by Roblox Premium. If you want to attempt a retention offer contact Roblox support from your account and request retention options. Steps: use the Settings > Contact Us or the support portal, state your username, say you intend to cancel and ask if any loyalty or promotional offers are available. Keep any written offer or code as proof before you confirm cancellation.

Compute yearly costs for current Premium plans:

• Roblox Premium 450: 4.99 x 12 = £59.88 per year.
• Roblox Premium 1000: 9.99 x 12 = £119.88 per year.
• Roblox Premium 2200: 19.99 x 12 = £239.88 per year.

Cheapest competitor listed in research: Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack - monthly £2.92 or annual £34.99. Savings if you cancel Premium 450 and switch to the Nintendo annual plan: £59.88 - £34.99 = £24.89 per year. Savings for other plans versus the Nintendo annual plan:

• Premium 1000: £119.88 - £34.99 = £84.89 per year.
• Premium 2200: £239.88 - £34.99 = £204.89 per year.

Relevant UK laws and regulator

Key UK law includes the Consumer Rights Act 2015 for digital content quality and the Digital Markets, Competition and Consumers Act 2024 for subscription contract rules and renewal cooling-off rights. Cooling-off and refunds

The Consumer Contracts Regulations provide a 14-day cooling-off right for online contracts with a refund, unless you expressly consent to start the digital service and waive the right. How to escalate

1) Complain to Roblox support with evidence and ask for a resolution. 2) If unresolved, contact Citizens Advice for next steps. 3) Use chargeback or Section 75 via your card issuer where applicable for qualifying payments. 4) If sector-appropriate, escalate to an ombudsman. Keep all purchase records and cancellation proof.

Check access and benefits

After cancellation you will retain Premium benefits until the end of the current paid billing cycle. Robux stipends stop after the paid period ends. Keep copies of confirmation and screenshots for your records.

Data and account

Your Roblox account and purchased Robux remain available after cancellation. Any avatar items you own remain in your inventory. If you want to delete account data, follow Roblox account deletion procedures via the support portal and retain proof of the deletion request.

Final billing and potential refunds

Roblox Premium memberships are non-refundable under standard Roblox policy. Cancelling does not generate a refund for the current paid period, but you keep access until expiry. Re-activation

As of 30 April 2026 Roblox Premium is not available for new subscriptions. If you cancel an existing Premium subscription you may not be able to resubscribe to Premium; Roblox introduced Roblox Plus on 30 April 2026. Review the Plus terms at Roblox Plus.

Use this checklist immediately when you cancel to protect your rights and records.

• Cancel via the correct channel (web, Apple, Google) and capture a screenshot of confirmation.
• Note the date and the subscription expiry date shown in your account settings.
• If you purchased via Apple or Google contact their support if you need a store-side refund.
• Keep purchase receipts and bank statements for the billing period.
• If within 14 days of purchase and you did not consent to immediate access, request a statutory refund citing the Consumer Contracts Regulations.
