Xbox Live Gold was Microsofts subscription for online console multiplayer and member discounts. Since September 14, 2023 Xbox Live Gold has been transitioned into Xbox Game Pass Core. Existing Xbox Live Gold members were automatically moved to Game Pass Core.

Web cancellation (detailed)

1. Go to Official cancellation help.
2. Sign in with the Microsoft account that pays for the subscription.
3. Open Services & subscriptions, find your Xbox Game Pass Core / Xbox Live Gold entry, click Manage.
4. Choose Turn off recurring billing or Cancel subscription and follow on-screen prompts.
