Direct Debit stop

1. If payment is by Direct Debit, inform British Cycling before the renewal payment process begins. The membership auto-renews annually if the Direct Debit mandate is active.
2. If renewal is imminent, contact your bank to cancel the Direct Debit and keep the bank’s written confirmation.
3. Notify British Cycling in writing that you have instructed the bank to cancel the Direct Debit and request confirmation of membership termination.

Moving abroad

If you move permanently outside Great Britain and can show proof - for example a change of address on an official document - British Cycling may accept cancellation. Price increase

If British Cycling raises membership prices and the contract allows a termination right, you should quote the price change and request cancellation in writing. Provide the notice you received or a screenshot. If the contract contains an unambiguous right to cancel for price rise, exercise the right in writing. Death of subscriber
