Hydrow is a connected rowing platform and rowing machine brand that combines a hardware rower with live and on-demand instructor-led workouts. The Hydrow experience centers on full-body rowing sessions, studio classes, and scenic rows accessed via the Hydrow tablet or app.

Cancel via Hydrow web billing portal

1. Open your web browser and go to billing.hydrow.com.
2. Sign in with the email attached to your Hydrow account.
3. Open the Subscriptions section and locate your active membership.
4. Choose Cancel or Pause and follow on-screen prompts to confirm.

Cancel via iPhone (App Store)

1. Open Settings on your iPhone or iPad.
2. Tap your name at the top of Settings.
3. Tap Subscriptions.

Cancel via Android (Google Play)

1. Open the Google Play Store app.
2. Tap Menu then Subscriptions.
3. Find Hydrow and tap Cancel Subscription.
4. Save the cancellation confirmation shown by Google Play.

Cancel by email

1. Compose an email to [email protected] from the account tied to your Hydrow subscription.
2. Include account name, email, membership type and request to cancel effective immediately.
3. Ask for written confirmation and keep the sent email and any reply.

Cancel by post

1. Write a signed letter including your account details and clear instruction to cancel your membership immediately.
2. Send by registered post to Hydrow, 10 Summer St, 02110 Boston, United States.
3. Keep the proof of posting and delivery receipt as your evidence.

Moving abroad or relocation

If you move outside the areas covered by Hydrow delivery or service, contact Hydrow with proof of new address (utility bill or tenancy agreement). Hydrow's support will review your request. If you return the machine, Hydrow's returns policy applies and a return shipping fee of £250 will be deducted from any refund.

Price increase

If Hydrow raises the price for future billing periods in a way that changes essential elements of your contract, notify Hydrow in writing and request cancellation if you do not accept the new price. Keep copies of the notification and Hydrow responses. If the change is unilateral and disproportionate, the Consumer Rights Act 2015 protects against unfair contract terms.

Death of subscriber

If the subscriber dies, a close relative or executor should contact Hydrow and provide a death certificate and proof of authority. Hydrow's support will advise on account closure and hardware return options. Hydrow's returns policy requires the machine be returned in acceptable condition or Hydrow may refuse full refund.

Legitimate ground accepted by Hydrow

Hydrow accepts returns of rowers purchased directly from Hydrow's Online Store when requested within 30 days after delivery for units not eligible for the 30-day Risk-Free Home Trial. Hydrow may refuse a refund for damage, missing parts, or signs of abuse. Opened accessories are not returnable. Required proof: proof of purchase and condition of goods on return.

End of commitment / prepaid annual membership

For prepaid annual memberships, Hydrow will only provide a refund if the return is requested within 30 days of purchase per Hydrow policy. If you cancel after that period, Hydrow's stated policy is not to pro-rate refunds for membership periods already paid. Required proof: purchase receipt and account details.

Cooling-off period (14 days)

For distance contracts concluded online, consumers have a 14-day cancellation right under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013. To exercise it, tell Hydrow you cancel within 14 days from the date of contract or delivery for goods. If Hydrow does not provide the required information, the cancellation period can be extended. Hydrow must reimburse payments within 14 days of being informed of cancellation or receiving returned goods. Required proof: a clear cancellation statement and proof of return.

Before you cancel: negotiate

Hydrow is not widely reported to provide specific retention discounts in the public research. If you want to keep reduced cost, send an email to [email protected] requesting retention options and name the price you can accept. Example script: "I want to keep Hydrow but cannot continue at £34/month. Please tell me any retention offers, promotional rates, or the cost to switch to a Digital Basic subscription." Key consumer law in the United Kingdom

Distance sales and the right to cancel are covered by the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013. Services must be performed with reasonable care and skill under the Consumer Rights Act 2015. Check access and final billing

After cancellation, verify that your account shows cancelled. For App Store or Google Play cancellations, keep the store confirmation. Hydrow states that cancellations stop future auto-renewals but do not automatically create prorated refunds for remaining paid days of a subscription.

Data and device access

Your Hydrow rower may have limited functionality without an active Hydrow membership. If you return the machine, remove any personal account link and request confirmation of account closure. Keep screenshots of account status and any confirmation emails.

Refunds and returns

If you return a Hydrow rower purchased directly from Hydrow within 30 days (and not eligible for the 30-day Risk-Free Home Trial), Hydrow will process a refund but will deduct a return shipping fee of £250 and will not refund shipping, delivery, or installation charges. Refunds are issued to the original payment method.

Re-activation

If you re-subscribe later, you can create a new subscription via the Hydrow web portal or app. Any promotional price previously offered is not guaranteed on re-activation.
