Now Sports is a sports streaming membership offered by Now Sports Limited under the NOW brand. The service provides live streams, on-demand highlights and access to Sky Sports channels through month, saver and day passes.

Web - cancel step by step

1. Open a browser and sign in at the NOW website.
2. Go to Account, then Membership & Payment (do not use the mobile app for cancellation).
3. Select the membership you want to Cancel and follow the on-screen steps.
4. Wait for the on-screen confirmation then check your email - NOW sends a confirmation within 3 hours.

iOS / Apple purchases - cancel step by step

1. If you bought the membership through Apple, open Settings on your iPhone or iPad.
2. Tap your Apple ID, then Subscriptions, locate NOW or NOW Sports and choose Cancel Subscription.
3. Keep the Apple confirmation screenshot or email as proof.

Android / App - cancel step by step

1. NOW states cancellations must be done on the NOW website. Open a browser and sign in at the NOW website.
2. Navigate to Account > Membership & Payment and cancel the relevant membership.
3. Save the confirmation email sent within 3 hours as proof.

Phone / advisor - cancel step by step

1. If you have a Sports Day Membership unactivated and within 14 days, contact NOW customer service and request cancellation; you must speak to an advisor.
2. Ask the advisor for a reference number or confirmation email and keep it.

Post - cancel step by step

Cooling-off period (withdrawal)

You have a statutory cooling-off right under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 and related Subscription Contracts Act 2024 provisions for subscription contracts. Unactivated Sports Day Membership within 14 days

NOW allows cancellation of Sports Day Memberships only if purchased within the last 14 days and not yet activated. To cancel an unactivated Sports Day Membership you must contact NOW customer service and speak to an advisor. Keep the advisor reference or email. End of minimum commitment

If you are on a 12-Month Saver Sports Membership you may submit a cancellation at any time but the cancellation will take effect at the end of the 12-month minimum term. You will be able to watch until the last day of the plan but you will still be charged until the end of the term if you cancel earlier.

Price increase or change to terms

If NOW changes the price or key contractual terms after you have agreed a minimum term, you may have a contractual right to cancel depending on the specific change and the legal protections in the Subscription Contracts Act 2024 and Consumer Rights Act 2015. Refunds for change of mind / death / other grounds

NOW states refunds are not typically given for streaming access. There is a 14-day cooling-off right for content membership purchases started online, but that right can be lost if you agreed to immediate activation when streaming began. For other exceptional grounds (for example serious service failure) gather proof such as bank statements, correspondence, or a death certificate and submit a formal request to NOW; if refused you may escalate under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

Before cancelling: how to request a retention offer

NOW does not publish standard retention discounts. There are no public reports of fixed retention offers in the research data. To ask for a retention offer: contact customer service via the website help options, state the exact membership to Cancel and ask if there is a discounted 1-month or multi-month offer. If you are on a minimum-term Saver plan, confirm whether NOW can change renewal price or offer an early exit; record the advisor name and reference.
