Moving - change of address
If you move and the new address prevents delivery, notify Account Support via Care Portal Messaging or email and include proof of new address such as a council tax bill or utility bill. Hims UK will need the new address to confirm whether delivery is possible. Applicable law: Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 for distance contracts if you cancel before despatch.
Price increase
If Hims UK increases the price of a subscription, customers may cancel before the new price takes effect and receive a refund for any products not provided. Keep the notification from Hims UK and your cancellation message. This is a contractual change; the company states customers will be refunded in full for products not provided when they terminate due to price increases.
Death of subscriber
If the subscriber dies, an authorised representative should contact [email protected] or write to the registered address and include a copy of the death certificate and proof of authority to act for the estate. The company will cancel the subscription for safety and logistics reasons and refund amounts paid for products not dispatched where applicable.
Legitimate ground - clinical decision
If a clinician decides continuing treatment is not appropriate for safety reasons, Hims UK may cancel the subscription and will refund any amounts paid for products not received after termination. Required proof: clinic record notification from Hims UK. Applicable law: Consumer Rights Act 2015 - services must be performed with reasonable care and skill.
End of commitment
Hims UK does not publish a mandatory minimum commitment for all products. If your product had a defined minimum period in your order, provide the order confirmation as proof to confirm whether you have reached the end of the commitment. If no commitment was published, you may cancel following the company's cancellation process.
Cooling-off (14 day right to cancel)
For distance contracts concluded online, consumers have a 14-day cooling-off period under The Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013. The cooling-off period starts the day after the contract is entered into. If you cancel within 14 days before dispatch you are entitled to a refund of sums paid, subject to deductions for any services you asked to start. To exercise this right, notify Hims UK via Care Portal Messaging or by emailing [email protected]. See the Government regulation: The Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 and guidance: Citizens Advice - Cancelling a service.
