1. Go to your Medify account and log in.
2. Click the user icon in the top right and select 'Settings'.
3. Click 'Billing' in the left panel, then 'Manage your subscription'.
4. Click 'Cancel subscription' and follow on-screen prompts.
5. Save or screenshot the confirmation message as proof.

Email

1. Compose an email from the account email address to [email protected].
2. Subject: 'Cancel subscription'.
3. Include your full name, account email and last 4 digits of the payment card if available.
4. Request confirmation and keep the reply as proof.

Post (registered letter)

1. Write a short signed letter with your full name, account email and request to cancel the subscription.

iOS and Android (if billed through app stores)

1. If your subscription shows in Apple or Google payments, use the subscriptions section of your device to cancel.
2. Medify does not publish platform-specific steps; follow Apple or Google Play help for subscription cancellation.

If cancellation fails

1. If you cannot cancel through the web flow, email [email protected] and attach screenshots of the error.
2. If a payment is taken after you cancelled, collect bank/statement proof and the on-site cancellation confirmation, then escalate as described in the legal protections section.

Cooling-off period (change of mind)

If you bought a Medify subscription online you have a 14-day cooling-off period under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013. The 14-day period starts the day after entering the contract. You can cancel and receive a full refund unless you asked Medify to start the service and it was supplied immediately; in that case Medify can charge for the portion of service already supplied. End of commitment

Medify subscriptions automatically renew until you cancel. Cancelling during an active period stops future renewals but access continues until the current period expires. No minimum contract term is published by Medify, so cancellations take effect at the next renewal date. Applicable law: Consumer Rights Act 2015 for contract fairness.

Price increase

Medify does not publish a specific in-contract rule about opting out for price increases. If Medify notifies you of a price increase and you do not accept it, you should cancel before the effective date and request a refund if applicable. Moving / relocation

Medify does not publish special cancellation rules for moving address. If you cannot use the service for geographic reasons, request cancellation and provide proof such as a dated tenancy agreement or utility bill; Medify's published policy does not list moving as an automatic ground for refund. Death of the subscriber

Medify has not published a dedicated death-of-subscriber policy. If you need to cancel because of a subscriber death, contact [email protected] and provide the death certificate and proof of authority (executor or next of kin). Legitimate ground / service defects

Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 services must be carried out with reasonable care and skill. If Medify's service is defective - for example the platform repeatedly prevents access or mock exams are improperly cancelled by the platform - request remediation, cancellation and, if appropriate, a refund. Before cancelling: negotiate

Research shows no published retention offers from Medify. To request a retention offer, email [email protected] explaining why you want to stay and ask for a discounted rate or pause. When emailing include your account email, subscription plan and the exact renewal date. If Medify offers a discretionary refund it will charge a £5 processing fee for UK purchases.

Key UK consumer laws

The Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 provide a 14-day cooling-off right for online contracts, starting the day after the contract is made. How to escalate a dispute

3) For card payments over £100 paid by credit card, consider a Section 75 claim with your card issuer if Medify is not cooperative.

Check access and final billing

After cancellation, you will keep access until the end of the current billing period. Confirm the expiry date in your account and check your card or bank statement for the last payment. If you are charged after cancelling, gather the cancellation confirmation and the charged transactions to contest the charge.

Data and re-activation

If you want to preserve data such as mock exam history, download or screenshot your performance reports before expiry.
