Cooling-off (14-day right to cancel)
For distance or off-premises purchases you have a 14-day cancellation period under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013. To cancel within this period for online orders, contact Customer Service to request a returns reference and return goods in their resealable packaging. Refunds are issued within 14 days of Specsavers receiving the returned goods. See Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.
End of minimum commitment
If your plan included a promotional minimum (for example the 1-month-free offer requires initial payments), the contractual minimum is set in your Easycare terms. The advertised new-subscriber offer requires an initial two months payment upfront and a three-month minimum to qualify for the free month. For other minimum terms, consult your contract or contact Customer Service - the exact minimum for general plans is not published.
Price increase
If Specsavers changes the price of a subscription, check your contract terms. The Consumer Rights Act 2015 protects against unfair contract terms; an unexpected unilateral price increase that effectively changes the service may be challengeable under that Act. If you dispute a price change, raise a written complaint with Specsavers and keep copies of correspondence.
Moving country or area
If you move and the service cannot be provided in your new location, contact Customer Service to request cancellation or to discuss transfer options. Specsavers does allow payment holidays and account management via the Easycare portal where available. Proof required: new address or evidence that local supply is unavailable - provide copies of new tenancy agreement or utility bill where requested.
Death of subscriber
In the event of the death of the subscriber, contact Specsavers Customer Service and provide a copy of the death certificate. The company will advise on contract termination or transfer to an administrator. Applicable law: Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 and general contract law principles on termination by death.
Service quality or faulty goods
If contact lenses supplied are incorrect, damaged, do not arrive within 21 days of dispatch, or are undeliverable, Specsavers will issue a full refund or replacement. Return the goods in resealable packaging and contact Customer Service for the returns address and reference. Refunds are limited to the original order value and issued to the same payment method within 14 days of receipt. This is consistent with consumer statutory rights under UK law.
