Moving permanently (change of residence)
If you move address inside or outside the United Kingdom and wish to stop Thriva tests because kits cannot be delivered, contact Thriva support at [email protected] with proof of new address such as a utility bill or tenancy agreement. Thriva's published channels for cancellation are the app; other channels are Not published by Thriva.
Price increase
If Thriva raises the subscription price mid-contract and you do not accept the increase you may treat that as a contract change and cancel. Provide the notice from Thriva that shows the price increase and your account details. This follows the consumer right to cancel when contract terms change under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
Death of the subscriber
To cancel because of the death of the subscriber contact support at [email protected] and supply a copy of the death certificate plus proof of authority to act for the estate. Thriva's published cancellation route is the app; for estates use email or post where app access is not possible.
Legitimate ground accepted by Thriva
Research did not list an explicit set of "legitimate grounds" published by Thriva. Known, acceptable grounds under consumer law include exercising your 14-day cooling-off right, significant change in service, and inability to receive kits at your address. For any claim where Thriva requires proof, supply documents such as a medical certificate, change-of-address evidence or the official notice sent by Thriva.
End of commitment / Cancel anytime
Thriva subscriptions are advertised as flexible and can be changed, paused or cancelled at any time via the Thriva app. Cancel before the next scheduled test dispatch to avoid future charges. For timing use the 48 hour notice guidance for next kit dispatch found in Thriva research notes.
Cooling-off period (14 days)
If you bought Thriva online you have a 14 day cancellation right under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013. To get a refund, notify Thriva within 14 days and request reimbursement. Thriva accepts refund requests up to two months after the initial transaction in some cases.
