Web - Billing panel

1. Open the BisectHosting Billing panel and sign in.
2. Click the Services tab to list active servers.
3. Select the server you want to cancel.
4. Click Cancel and choose a reason from the list.
5. Choose cancellation timing: immediate (within 24 hours) or at the end of the current billing period.
6. Press the Cancel Subscription button and keep the on-screen confirmation or confirmation email.

Email

1. Compose an email to [email protected] from the account owner email.
2. Include your account ID, service ID, desired cancellation date and preferred refund handling.
3. Request written confirmation and a cancellation reference number.
4. If you receive no reply within 72 hours, open a support ticket through the account panel.

Phone

1. BisectHosting does not publish a public support phone number. Use the account panel or email for documented requests.
2. If a phone contact is provided in your billing area, call and ask for a cancellation reference and follow up with an email to document the call.

Post

1. Write a registered letter stating account name, account ID, service to cancel and whether you want immediate or end-of-cycle cancellation.

Moving or migration to another provider

If you are moving to another host, cancel the service in the Billing panel as described above. Provide a migration confirmation or new host order as proof if you seek a discretionary refund. BisectHosting policy on refunds remains the controlling factor for any refund.

Price increase

If BisectHosting increases price mid-contract and you have a fixed-price contract, check your contract terms. Where a contract allows mid-contract price increases in breach of Consumer Rights Act 2015, you may challenge the term via Citizens Advice or CMA if the increase is unfair. Provide the invoice showing the new price as proof.

Death of the subscriber

To close an account after the subscriber dies, provide a death certificate and proof of authority (executor or next of kin). Send documents to [email protected] or by post to the company address. BisectHosting does not publish a special bereavement policy; a written request plus evidence is required.

Legitimate ground - breach of contract or service failure

If BisectHosting fails to provide services with reasonable care and skill, you can require repair or termination under the Consumer Rights Act 2015. Provide logs, screenshots and support ticket numbers showing failure. If BisectHosting terminates without cause they state a pro-rata refund will be issued. If termination is for a breach of Terms or Acceptable Use Policy, no refund will be given by BisectHosting.

End of commitment

If you are at the end of a fixed commitment, cancel in the Billing panel before renewal. If you do not cancel, the service will auto-renew; follow the Billing panel steps to stop renewal. Proof: cancellation confirmation from the panel.

Cooling-off period

For contracts concluded online, the UK Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 provide a 14-day cancellation right for most services. Digital content exception applies if you expressly agreed to immediate supply and acknowledged loss of the right to cancel. Final billing and refunds

Check the final invoice for any renewal charge. For automatic renewals BisectHosting will issue a full refund if requested within 1 day, a 50% refund within 3 days, and no refund after 3 days, except where statutory rights apply. Domains and certain one-time add-ons are non-refundable as noted in their policy.

Re-activation

You can re-order hosting at any time but re-activation of the exact previous server configuration is not guaranteed. Keep copies of configuration files to recreate servers quickly.
