Company facts

Web - cancel auto-renewal

1. Open a browser and sign in to your Nord Account at account.nordaccount.com or via the NordVPN app.
2. Go to the Billing tab.
3. Under Subscriptions locate the active subscription and click Cancel next to Auto-renewal.
4. Confirm Cancel auto-renewal when prompted. You will receive on-screen confirmation and an email.
5. If you want a refund, request one within the 30-day money-back period using NordVPN refund instructions.

iOS - Apple App Store purchases

1. Open Settings on your iPhone or iPad and tap your name.
2. Tap Subscriptions, find NordVPN and tap Cancel Subscription.
3. Apple controls refunds for App Store purchases; to request a refund contact Apple Support.
4. If you purchased directly from NordVPN through a link on iOS, follow the Web steps above.

Android - Google Play purchases

1. Open the Google Play Store app, tap your profile, then Payments and subscriptions - Subscriptions.
2. Select NordVPN and tap Cancel subscription.
3. If you need a refund within 48 hours, you can request one via your Google Play account. For other refund requests, contact NordVPN support and state your order ID.

Amazon App Store

1. Open Amazon Appstore account settings on the device or Amazon website.
2. Find your Subscriptions and cancel NordVPN there.
3. Contact Amazon for refunds related to Amazon purchases.

Email cancellation

1. Send an email to [email protected] with your account email, order ID and a clear statement that you want to cancel auto-renewal or the subscription.
2. Keep the reply email as proof of cancellation.

Post - registered letter

1. Write a signed letter stating your account email, order ID and that you Cancel the subscription or auto-renewal.
2. Send by registered post to: NordVPN, 207 Regent Street, W1B 3HH London, United Kingdom.
3. Keep postal proof of delivery as evidence.

Cooling-off (14 day right)

If you bought a subscription online or off-premises you have a 14 calendar day right to cancel under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013. To exercise it, inform NordVPN within 14 days and request a refund. Price increase

If a contract term allows price increases, you may have a right to cancel if the increase is not permitted by your contract or statutory protections. Check your contract terms in the Billing tab and keep any end of contract notices issued by the trader. Moving abroad

Relocation alone is not a statutory automatic ground to cancel a digital service unless NordVPN cannot provide the service or your contract specifically allows termination for relocation. NordVPN does not publish a standard relocation cancellation policy; rely on contract terms or statutory rights.

Death of a subscriber

Death of the account holder requires contacting NordVPN support with a copy of the death certificate and proof of the account ownership of the deceased. NordVPN does not publish a specific process for death claims; provide official documents and request account closure and refund where applicable. Legitimate ground / material breach

If NordVPN fails to supply the service with reasonable care and skill, you have remedies under the Consumer Rights Act 2015. End of commitment / automatic renewal

Before you cancel - negotiate

There are no public reports in the research data of standard retention discounts that NordVPN always offers. Check access and service end date

After cancelling auto-renewal you should keep access for the remainder of the paid period unless you requested immediate termination. Record the service end date shown in your Nord Account and keep the cancellation confirmation email.
