Web cancellation (recommended)

1. Go to the JibJab website and log in to your paid account.
2. Hover over the profile icon in the top-right corner and click "My Info."
3. Click "Membership" and then "Edit Auto-Renewal Subscription."
4. Follow prompts to turn off auto-renewal. If the link is not visible, auto-renewal is already disabled.
5. Keep a screenshot of the confirmation for your records.

iOS cancellation (Apple App Store)

1. On your iPhone or iPad open the App Store app.
2. Tap your profile photo at top right, then tap "Subscriptions."
3. Find JibJab in the list and tap "Cancel Subscription."
4. Keep the App Store subscription status screen as proof.
5. Note: JibJab does not handle cancellations or refunds for memberships purchased through the mobile app; those are handled by Apple. See JibJab mobile app refund guidance.

Android cancellation (Google Play)

1. Open the Google Play Store app on your device.
2. Tap your profile, then "Payments and subscriptions" and then "Subscriptions."
3. Select JibJab and tap "Cancel subscription."
4. Save the Play Store subscription confirmation screen as proof.
5. Note: Google Play manages refunds and cancellations for purchases made through Google Play.

Cancel by post

1. Write a signed letter stating you wish to cancel your JibJab membership and include your account email and user name.
2. Send the letter by registered post to: JibJab, 27 Old Gloucester Street, WC1N 3AX London, United Kingdom.
3. Retain proof of postage and any delivery confirmation.

Help center and email

1. If you cannot cancel via the account, use the JibJab Help Center or contact form in the Help Center articles.
2. When requesting a refund or cancellation through the help pages, reference your account email, purchase date and payment method.

Moving abroad or change of residence

If you move residence and cannot access a service due to geographic restrictions, provide proof of new address such as a utility bill or tenancy agreement. JibJab does not publish a specific relocation cancellation policy; use the Help Center and include documentary proof.

Price increase

If JibJab increases the price of a subscription, you have the contractual right to cancel before the new price applies if the contract allows that. Provide the notification from JibJab or your billing showing the increase as proof. Death of the subscriber

To cancel after the death of a subscriber, supply a copy of the death certificate and proof of authority to act for the estate. JibJab does not publish explicit steps for this case in public help pages; contact the Help Center with documents.

Legitimate grounds and faulty service

If the service is not delivered with reasonable care and skill - for example repeated inability to access purchased content - keep logs, screenshots and correspondence. Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 you may request repair, repeat performance or refund depending on the failure.

End of commitment

If your plan was annual or six-months, cancellation should be completed before renewal by disabling auto-renewal. Proof is the account membership page showing auto-renewal turned off.

Cooling-off rights

For online purchases you have rights under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, including a 14-day cooling-off period for most online contracts. Exception - digital content once streaming or download has started with your express consent is excluded. JibJab states payments are generally nonrefundable but allows refunds for site purchases under specific timing conditions. To request refund rights under cooling-off, provide the order confirmation, date of purchase and the signed withdrawal statement if applicable.

Before you cancel - negotiate

Provide your account email, last payment date and the reason you will cancel. After you disable auto-renewal you will retain access until the end of the paid period. Check your account membership page for the expiry date and keep screenshots. No further automatic charges should be taken after the expiry if auto-renewal is off.

Data and account recovery

If you later want to re-activate, log in and choose a new plan. To request deletion of personal data, contact JibJab through the Help Center and request account deletion. Keep a copy of the deletion confirmation for your records.

If you expected a refund

If you requested a refund and JibJab refused, gather your order confirmation, proof of cancellation and correspondence. Use the escalation steps in the legal protections section to raise the matter with Citizens Advice or your card issuer.
