Overview

SoundCloud Go is a paid tier of SoundCloud that adds ad-free listening, offline saves, access to the full catalog and higher quality audio to the free SoundCloud service. Plans are sold directly and via app stores with slightly different purchase flows and prices.

Website cancellation (best method)

1. Go to your account at soundcloud.com.
2. Open the Account menu and choose Subscriptions or Subscription Management.
3. Select the SoundCloud Go or SoundCloud DJ tab on the Subscriptions page.
4. Click Cancel Subscription and follow on-screen confirmation.

iOS - Cancel via Apple App Store

1. If you subscribed through Apple in-app purchase, open the Settings app on your iPhone or the App Store app.
2. Tap your Apple ID > Subscriptions.

Cooling-off period (14 days)

If the account holder dies, the account can be closed by an executor or next of kin. Provide a copy of the death certificate and proof of relationship. SoundCloud will process account closure on receipt of official documents.

Your uploaded tracks, playlists and likes remain in your account after cancellation but tracks that become paywalled or removed by rights holders may no longer be available. Export or back up crucial playlists by saving track links or downloading original uploads before the billing period ends.

Final billing and receipts

SoundCloud will not charge further after cancellation for future periods. If you paid via Apple or Google Play, final billing and refunds are handled by those stores; keep receipts from Apple or Google Play as proof.

Re-activation
