Moving abroad
Rule and proof - Digital Scores has not published a specific moving policy. If you need to cancel because you relocate, send proof of relocation such as a new utility bill or official address change document and your cancellation request to [email protected]. Use the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 where relevant for distance contracts.
Price increase
Rule and proof - If Digital Scores raises the subscription price mid-contract and you do not accept the change, you may cancel. Provide the price change notice and your cancellation request. The Digital Markets, Competition and Consumers Act 2024 requires clear pre-contract information and regular reminders for auto-renewals; cite the renewal cooling-off protections at renewal cooling-off rules.
Death of the subscriber
Rule and proof - To cancel a subscription after a subscriber death, contact support with a copy of the death certificate and your relationship to the estate. Digital Scores has not published a specific bereavement policy; follow standard trader escalation routes and request final billing cessation.
Legitimate grounds (force majeure, long-term incapacity)
Rule and proof - Digital Scores has not published a list of accepted legitimate grounds. Use medical certificates, long-term incapacity documentation or statutory proof and send to [email protected]. The Consumer Rights Act 2015 covers service performance with reasonable care and skill.
End of commitment
Rule and proof - If you subscribed to a fixed-term plan, cancel at the end of the committed period via the account page or App Store/Google Play and keep confirmation screenshots. If the term auto-renews into a longer contract, you have a 14-day renewal cooling-off right per the Digital Markets, Competition and Consumers Act 2024 - see cooling-off rights.
Cooling-off (initial or renewal)
Rule and proof - Consumers have two 14-day cooling-off periods under the Digital Markets, Competition and Consumers Act 2024: an initial 14-day cooling-off when entering a contract and a 14-day renewal cooling-off after a trial or 12 month plus auto-renew. If you cancel during these periods, refunds are due and refund processing for online cancellations must begin within 24 hours; see section 261 and section 267 for the waiver and renewal rules.
