Post (Recorded Delivery) - recommended

1. Write a dated, signed cancellation letter that states your name, membership or client reference (if known), pet name, and the date you want termination to take effect.
2. Take the letter to the Post Office and complete a Recorded Delivery form to obtain a tracking reference and proof of posting.

4. Keep the Recorded Delivery receipt and tracking details. If the plan disputes receipt, the tracking provides documentary evidence.

Cooling-off (14 day right)

If you concluded the contract at a distance or off-premises you have a 14 day statutory right to cancel under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013.
