Cancel New Statesman the easy way

Web - cancel via My Account

1. Open secure.newstatesman.com and sign in to your account.
2. Go to Account or Subscription settings.
3. Locate the active subscription and select Manage Subscription.
4. Turn off auto-renew or select Cancel subscription following the on-screen prompts.
5. Keep the confirmation email or a screenshot of the on-screen confirmation as proof.

iOS - cancel via Apple

1. Open Settings on your iPhone or iPad and tap your name.
2. Tap Subscriptions, find New Statesman and tap Cancel Subscription.
3. Apple issues a cancellation confirmation; save the confirmation screen or email from Apple as proof.
4. Note: subscriptions bought through Apple may have different prices and renewal rules within the App Store.

Android - cancel via Google Play

1. Open the Google Play Store app, tap your profile and go to Payments and subscriptions then Subscriptions.
2. Select New Statesman and tap Cancel subscription to turn off auto-renew.
3. Research notes: "No cancellation of the current subscription is allowed during the active subscription period." If you need a refund for the active period, follow Google Play refund procedures or contact New Statesman support.

Phone

1. Call +44 (0)1604 386282 and state you want to cancel or turn off auto-renew for your subscription.
2. Provide your full name and subscriber/order number if asked.
3. Request a call reference number or confirmation email and keep that for your records.

Moving address (change of delivery)

If you move and cannot receive print issues you should notify New Statesman with your new address. If print delivery is impossible they may treat it as a legitimate ground for termination; provide proof such as a change of address confirmation or utility bill.

Death of subscriber

Cooling-off period (14 days)
