Website (official portal)

1. Visit the subscription portal and sign in: Subscriptions FAQ.
2. Go to Account or Subscriptions and click Cancel or Manage Subscription.

iOS (App Store)

1. Open Settings on your iPhone or iPad, tap your name, then Subscriptions.

1. Call Customer Care at 1-800-825-2510 (US number listed by New Yorker).
2. State your full name, account email, and subscription details. Ask for a cancellation reference number and an email confirmation.
3. Record the time and the agent name for your records.

Email

1. Send a clear cancellation request to [email protected] with your full name, account email, billing address and the words "Cancel subscription".
2. Attach a screenshot of your billing if available and request written confirmation.

Post (registered letter)

1. Write a short letter: your full name, account email, subscription start date, and the statement "I cancel my subscription to The New Yorker".

Cooling-off (initial subscription)

Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 there is a 14-day cooling-off period for online or off-premises contracts. If you cancel within 14 days from the start of the contract you are entitled to a full refund for payments already made unless you gave express consent for immediate digital content access.

Renewal cooling-off

End of commitment

Before cancelling: negotiate
