Web - cancel via your AutoDS account

1. Open your browser and go to https://www.autods.com/.
2. Log in with your AutoDS account credentials.
3. Open your personal settings or billing section.
4. Choose Cancel subscription or Terminate User Account as provided in the settings.
5. Follow the on-screen confirmation steps and save any screenshots.
6. Keep any confirmation email you receive as proof.

iOS - cancel through Apple

1. Open Settings on your iPhone or iPad.
2. Tap your name, then Subscriptions.
3. Find the AutoDS subscription and tap Cancel Subscription.
4. Keep the Apple confirmation email or screenshot as proof.

Android - cancel through Google Play

1. Open Google Play app.
2. Tap your profile icon - Payments and subscriptions - Subscriptions.
3. Select AutoDS and tap Cancel subscription.
4. Keep the Google Play confirmation email or screenshot as proof.

Email - request cancellation by email

1. Send an email to [email protected] from the account email address.
2. Subject line: Cancel Subscription - [Your AutoDS account email].
3. Include: full name, account email, last 4 digits of payment card, date of last payment, and request to cancel and terminate account.
4. Keep the sent email and any reply from AutoDS.

Post - registered letter

1. Write a clear cancellation letter: state your full name, account email, date of request and request to cancel subscription and terminate account.
2. Address the registered letter to: Auto DS, Crown Way, CF14 3UZ Cardiff, United Kingdom.
3. Send by recorded delivery and keep proof of postage and signed delivery receipt.
4. Use a scan of the letter and proof as evidence if escalation is required.

Moving abroad or relocation

If you relocate and cannot use AutoDS services for the new jurisdiction, request account termination via your settings page or in writing. Provide a proof of new address if AutoDS requests it - for example a utility bill or tenancy agreement. Required proof documents: proof of new address (utility bill or tenancy agreement) or official relocation document. Applicable law: Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 for digital services when termination relates to change in circumstances.

Price increase

If AutoDS applies a price increase that affects your contract, you can cancel if the price change is not part of the fixed contract terms. Provide a payment receipt showing previous price and the notification from AutoDS about the price increase if available. Required proof documents: copy of AutoDS price-change notification and recent invoice. Applicable law: Digital Markets, Competition and Consumers Act 2024 - renewal and changes to subscription contracts must include a cooling-off notice for renewals; for price increases a consumer may cancel under that Act.

Death of the subscriber

To cancel a subscription after the subscriber dies, contact AutoDS by email with proof of death and proof you are authorised to act for the estate. Required proof documents: death certificate and executor/administrator ID or probate document. Applicable law: Consumer Rights Act 2015 for termination of service contracts by personal representatives.

Legitimate ground

AutoDS accepts termination via the account settings page and account deletion as legitimate grounds to stop services. Other legitimate grounds such as material breach (failure to deliver paid features with reasonable care) are covered by Consumer Rights Act 2015. Required proof documents: account ID, copies of communication reporting the fault, and dates showing failure to perform. Applicable law: Consumer Rights Act 2015.

End of commitment

For fixed-term annual plans, cancel at the end of the paid period either via settings or in writing. If you have an annual plan and wish to avoid auto-renewal, cancel before the renewal date using your account settings. Required proof documents: account details and last invoice. Applicable law: Digital Markets, Competition and Consumers Act 2024 regarding renewal cooling-off notices.

Cooling-off period

For online subscriptions, the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 provide a 14-day cooling-off period for many contracts concluded online, with a refund when applicable. AutoDS also publishes specific refund windows: monthly plans refundable within 24 hours of payment and annual plans refundable within 7 days of payment. To claim a refund during the statutory or AutoDS window, provide proof of payment and account details. Required proof documents: payment receipt and account email. Before cancelling - negotiate

AutoDS does not publicly list retention offers in its help articles. There are no published examples of discounts or retention credits in the available AutoDS documentation. How to ask: send an email to [email protected] including your account email, current plan, and a clear statement you are considering cancellation and are willing to stay for a discounted rate or a pause. Request a written offer and a deadline for acceptance. If billed through Apple or Google, request a refund through their processes after contacting AutoDS.

Key consumer laws that protect you

Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 - 14-day cooling-off period for online contracts is available for many digital services, with exceptions once digital content download or streaming starts. Performance and unfair terms

Confirm access and final billing

Check your account after cancellation to confirm the subscription status and the next billing date. If AutoDS charged you within the refund windows, request a refund as described by AutoDS refund rules. Keep your confirmation screenshots and emails.

Check Fulfilled by AutoDS balances

AutoDS states that upon account deletion any Fulfilled by AutoDS balance will be automatically removed and is not refundable or transferable. If you have such a balance, request clarification from support and download any available account statements. Required proof documents: account invoice and screenshots of balance. Data and product listings

Export product lists, order history, and any templates before terminating the account. After deletion, AutoDS may remove automation and product listings. Save CSV exports and screenshots as necessary.

Re-activation

You can re-subscribe later by signing up again. Check whether any promotional trial is still available because trials may be limited to new accounts and charged amounts such as $0.99 or $1 (converted approximately to £0.78 to £0.79).
