iOS cancellation via Apple

1. On your iPhone or iPad open Settings.
2. Tap your name, then Subscriptions.
3. Select the active BeenVerified subscription.
4. Tap Cancel Subscription and keep the cancellation confirmation screenshot or Apple email receipt.

Android cancellation via Google Play

1. Open Google Play app.
2. Tap Profile > Payments and subscriptions > Subscriptions.
3. Select BeenVerified and tap Cancel subscription.
4. Keep the Google Play confirmation email as proof.

Phone cancellation

1. Call 1-844-823-2869 and provide your 9-digit membership ID.
2. Request confirmation by email and note the agent name and time of call.
3. If no confirmation arrives, follow up by email with a copy of call details.

Email and postal cancellation

1. Email [email protected] with your full name, email used for signup, 9-digit membership ID and explicit instruction: "Cancel my BeenVerified membership".
2. If you prefer a paper trail send a registered letter to Been Verified, 100 W Broadway, Suite 200, 90802 Long Beach, USA including membership ID and your signature.
3. Keep copies of the email or registered mail receipt as proof.

Moving abroad or change of residence

Rule - moving location alone is not automatically accepted as a refund reason. Provide proof such as a new address registration if you request a refund for services not used after the move. BeenVerified reviews refunds on a case-by-case basis; you must submit documentary evidence to support the claim. Applicable law - Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 when the contract was concluded at a distance and cooling-off applies.

Price increase

Rule - if BeenVerified increases the subscription price during an ongoing contract and you were not given the right to exit, you may treat the increase as a breach and request cancellation and refund for accrued costs. Provide screenshots or billing statements showing the price change. Death of subscriber

Rule - submit a copy of the death certificate and the account holder details to [email protected]. BeenVerified will handle requests case-by-case and may cancel the account on receipt of proof. Applicable law - Consumer Rights Act 2015 for contract termination due to lack of capacity or death.

Rule - BeenVerified accepts refund requests for faulty service or if the service was not delivered with reasonable care and skill. End of commitment
