Web

1. Locate the model cancellation form included in your contract documents or log in to your online account.
2. Complete the form with your name, account number and statement that you wish to cancel.
3. Submit the form and save a copy or screenshot of the confirmation.
4. If cancelling within 14 days, state you are exercising your cancellation right under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.

iOS

1. Check whether Cuckoo provides an iOS app and whether the subscription is managed by Apple.
2. If managed by Apple, cancel via Settings > your name > Subscriptions.

1. Check whether Cuckoo provides an Android app and whether the subscription is managed by Google Play.

2. State if cancelling within the 14-day cooling-off period and ask for confirmation that no Early Release Fee will be charged.

Post

1. Write a signed cancellation letter including account number, your full name and address, and the statement that you wish to cancel the contract.

Cooling-off period (first 14 days)

Cuckoo allows cancellation within the first 14 days without an Early Release Fee. If you cancel during this period you will only be charged activation fees for services installed, charges for services used and the cost of returning or repairing equipment. End of minimum commitment

If you cancel after the minimum contract period ends you should not be charged an Early Release Fee. Cuckoo's terms reference a minimum period but the exact duration is Not published by Cuckoo. Provide written notice 30 days before your desired end date and request confirmation in writing.

Price increase or contract change by Cuckoo

Cuckoo's terms state that if contract changes are made by Cuckoo (for example changes to services or price) certain terminations may be allowed without Early Release Fee. To cancel for this reason collect the written communication from Cuckoo that announces the change and send it with your cancellation request. Moving address or inability to provide service at new address

Cuckoo's terms permit contract termination if services cannot be provided at the new address. Required proof: a copy of the proof of move (new tenancy agreement or completion statement) and evidence from Cuckoo or a third party that the service is unavailable at the new property. If Cuckoo cannot provide service they will refund payments made up to the termination date according to their terms.

Death of subscriber

Cuckoo's public terms do not publish a specific process for death of the account holder. If this applies, contact Cuckoo support and send a death certificate and proof of executor/administrator authority. State clearly you seek termination of the contract. If Cuckoo does not publish a policy for this situation, keep copies of all correspondence.

Legitimate grounds and serious breach

Cuckoo may end the contract if a customer commits a serious breach, or if services cannot be provided due to supplier issues or legal requirements. Required proof depends on the reason: for supplier inability provide Cuckoo's notice; for breach Cuckoo's written notice. Before you cancel: negotiate

There are no public reports in Cuckoo's published materials of specific retention discounts Cuckoo routinely offers. That does not prevent you from asking for one. How to ask: email [email protected] or call support and state your intention to cancel, include your current monthly plan and a clear request for a retention offer or cheaper plan. Cooling-off and refunds
