Cooling-off (change of mind)
Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, you have a 14-day statutory right to withdraw from most online contracts from the day after products are delivered. Hello Klean also extends a commercial 100-day return policy. Use the website EU withdrawal form (official withdrawal form) or email [email protected] with order details. Keep confirmation of your withdrawal.
Grounds: moving house
If you move address this is not a specific legal ground for an immediate refund under the regulations unless you exercise the 14-day cooling-off or Hello Klean agrees a goodwill return. Provide proof of move such as a signed tenancy agreement or moving company invoice. Applicable law: Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.
Price increase
If Hello Klean increases the price of a paid subscription during an ongoing contract, the change must respect the contract terms. The Competition and Markets Authority (CMA) treats unfair auto-renewal or hard-to-cancel terms as potentially unfair. If a unilateral increase breaches your contract terms, complain in writing and quote the relevant contract clause. Applicable law: Consumer Rights Act 2015 and CMA guidance.
Death of subscriber
Where a subscriber dies, the estate or next of kin should email [email protected] with a copy of the death certificate and the order reference to request account closure and cancellation of ongoing refills. Hello Klean will handle cancellation on receipt of proof; keep written correspondence.
Legitimate grounds Hello Klean accepts
Research notes Hello Klean accepts returns for faulty or damaged goods and offers refunds within 100 days. For hygiene-sealed items, there is no right to cancel once unsealed. If the product is faulty, provide photographs and order details. Applicable law: Consumer Rights Act 2015.
End of commitment
Smart Refill Plan has no minimum commitment and can be cancelled at any time. Cancellation via the account is immediate but takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Applicable law: Consumer Rights Act 2015.
