Nexus is a technology company focused on developer tools and infrastructure for intelligent markets, high-performance finance and AI-powered applications. The legal entity is Nexus Laboratories, Inc., headquartered in San Francisco and founded in 2021.

What Nexus offers

Products include several platform and subscription offerings with different pricing tiers such as Nexus.app, Nexus Money business accounts, Nexus Wizard subscriptions, Nexus Mods premium membership and industry-specific products like Vitalis Nexus clinical plans.

Who uses Nexus

Primary users are developers, financial application teams, DeFi builders and organisations needing verifiable finance and high-throughput market services.

Web / Billing portal

1. Sign in to the Nexus account where you purchased the subscription.
2. Open the billing or subscriptions section of your account dashboard.
3. Select the active subscription and choose Cancel or Manage subscription.
4. Confirm cancellation when prompted. Save or screenshot the confirmation and any confirmation email.
5. If you have trouble, note the subscription ID and contact [email protected] with that ID.

iOS

1. If you subscribed using Apple App Store, open Settings on your iPhone, tap your name, then Subscriptions. Find the Nexus subscription and tap Cancel.
2. Save the App Store cancellation confirmation screen or email receipt from Apple as proof.
3. If the subscription does not appear in App Store, cancel via the Nexus billing portal or contact support at [email protected].

Android

1. If you subscribed through Google Play, open the Google Play Store app, tap your profile, then Payments and subscriptions > Subscriptions. Select the Nexus subscription and Cancel subscription.
2. Keep the Google Play cancellation confirmation as proof.
3. If the subscription was purchased outside Google Play, cancel through the Nexus billing portal or contact [email protected].

Phone

1. Nexus does not publish a public phone support number for cancellations. If you prefer phone, request a callback via support email and include your account and subscription ID.
2. Keep written confirmation of any phone arrangement sent to you by email.

Email

1. Send an email to [email protected] or [email protected] with subject line "Cancel subscription" and include: account email, subscription ID, last four digits of payment card and desired cancellation date.
2. Request written confirmation of cancellation and the effective date.
3. Allow up to 72 hours for a response. If no reply, follow up and keep all message copies.

Post / Registered letter

1. Write a signed letter with account email, subscription ID, request to cancel and date. Send it by registered post to: Nexus, St James Boulevard, NE4 5DE Newcastle upon Tyne, United Kingdom.
2. Retain the registered-post receipt and request written confirmation by email.
3. Processing may take up to 14 days after delivery confirmation.

Moving

Nexus does not publish a specific policy for cancelling due to moving. If you require termination because you can no longer access the service from a new location, send a cancellation request to [email protected] with proof of move such as a utility bill or tenancy agreement. Nexus will review requests case by case; no guaranteed automatic right to terminate is published by Nexus.

Applicable law

Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 may apply if the subscription was purchased at a distance and the consumer exercises the 14-day cooling-off right.

Price increase

If Nexus raises the subscription price and the increase applies to your renewal, Nexus research states refunds are generally not provided for renewals charged at a new price if the change was properly notified. If the price increase affects your contract, check the renewal notice and the "cooling-off notice" required for renewal cooling-off periods under section 266 of the Digital Markets, Competition and Consumers Act 2024. If a renewal cooling-off period is triggered, follow the cancellation instructions in that notice.

Death of subscriber

Nexus does not publish a standard bereavement cancellation process. Contact [email protected] and provide the death certificate and account details. Nexus will consider account closure requests on receipt of appropriate documentation, but no specific contractual rule is published by Nexus.

Legitimate ground (supported reasons Nexus accepts from research)

Research indicates Nexus accepts cancellation requests submitted before the next renewal charge and will process cancellations if customers experience failed attempts to cancel. If you have failed attempts, send evidence and account details to [email protected]. Refunds for already-charged periods are not guaranteed and are reviewed case by case per Nexus refund policy.

Applicable law

Consumer Rights Act 2015 requires services be performed with reasonable care and skill. If Nexus materially fails to supply the service as described, you may have rights under this Act.

End of commitment

If your subscription period ends and there is no auto-renewal instruction, the contract ceases on expiry. If the subscription auto-renews, cancel before the next renewal charge to prevent an extension.

Cooling-off

Consumers have a right to cancel a subscription contract during an initial cooling-off period and any renewal cooling-off period under the Digital Markets, Competition and Consumers Act 2024. A cancellation is effective when the consumer notifies the trader with a clear statement. See section 264 and section 266 for renewal cooling-off notice requirements.

Before you cancel: negotiate

Key UK consumer law

After cancellation, verify the effective date in the confirmation email and check whether access continues until the end of the current paid period. Save the final billing statement. Nexus states cancellation generally takes effect at the end of the paid period and does not typically result in a prorated refund.

Data export and account closure

Export any data you need immediately after cancelling if the service will be inaccessible after expiry. Request data export formats and account deletion via [email protected]. Keep copies of exported data and the request confirmation.

Re-activation

To reactivate, sign back into the account and subscribe again via the billing portal or the original app store. Confirm new billing dates and prices before re-subscribing.
