Moving / Domicile change

If you move and the service is location-dependent and no longer available at your new address, state the change with proof (utility bill, rental agreement) and request cancellation. Provide a copy of the proof and a signed cancellation statement. Applicable law: Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 applies to online/off-premises contracts and the contractor must comply with cancellation rights.

Price increase

If Overload increases subscription price during an ongoing contract without your agreement, you may cancel. Provide the notice of price change (email or in-app message) and request cancellation citing the price increase. Death of subscriber

Legitimate grounds - defective or unavailable service

If the service is defective, unavailable, or does not perform as stated, you may cancel and request a refund. Provide documentation: screenshots, error logs, or other evidence of service failure. Refunds for digital purchases through app stores are handled by Apple or Google where applicable; Overload's published policy states it does not issue prorated refunds for partial periods.

End of commitment

When a fixed-length commitment expires (for example, a 6-month membership), cancellation takes effect at the end of that commitment unless you cancel earlier by following the stated procedure. Present your membership terms and last payment proof when needed.

Cooling-off (14-day right)

For contracts concluded online or off-premises, the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 grant a 14-day cooling-off period starting the day after the contract is made. If you cancel within that period, you are entitled to a refund unless you explicitly consented to immediate performance of digital content. Before you cancel: negotiate

(2) Use Citizens Advice for next steps. (3) If applicable, use Section 75 or chargeback via your card issuer for qualifying card payments. Access and service period

Cancellation generally takes effect at the end of the current paid period. You will keep access until that date unless the refund policy or a specific agreement states otherwise.

Data and account deletion

Accounts can be deleted at any time from the app's Settings screen; deletion permanently removes the account and any associated workout data. If you want data retained, export or back up before deletion.

Final billing and refunds

Overload's published policy states it does not issue prorated refunds for partial periods. Refund requests for purchases made through Apple are handled by Apple and for Google Play purchases by Google.
