Overview

Reform UK is a political party and membership organisation founded in 2018. It offers low-cost membership tiers, a mobile app, and party engagement for supporters across the United Kingdom.

Who runs it

The party is led by Nigel P Farage and was founded by Nigel Farage and Catherine Blaiklock. The legal company name is REFORM UK PARTY LIMITED, headquartered in London.

How membership works

Membership can be purchased monthly or annually through the official website and via the ReformGo app for iOS and Android. Membership gives access to the app and party updates. See the official membership page for sign-up and renewal options.

Web - Membership Portal

1. Go to the official membership page: https://www.reformparty.uk/membership.
2. Log in with your account credentials.
3. Open account settings or membership management and select the cancellation option.
4. Follow on-screen prompts and confirm cancellation.
5. Save or screenshot the on-screen confirmation and keep the confirmation email.

iOS - ReformGo app and App Store

1. Open the ReformGo app and go to account or membership settings.
2. If in-app cancellation is offered, follow the steps and confirm.
3. If charged via App Store subscription, open iOS Settings - your name - Subscriptions, find ReformGo and cancel the subscription there.
4. Save the in-app confirmation or App Store subscription cancellation screen.

Android - ReformGo app and Google Play

1. Open the ReformGo app and go to account or membership settings.
2. If the app does not provide cancellation, open Google Play - Profile - Payments and Subscriptions - Subscriptions.
3. Locate ReformGo and cancel the subscription.
4. Keep the Google Play confirmation receipt.

Phone

1. Call the membership freephone 0800 414 8525.
2. State your full name, membership reference (if any), and request cancellation.
3. Ask for a reference number and request a confirmation email.
4. Note the time and name of the agent you spoke with.

Email

1. Send a clear message to [email protected] stating your name, membership number, and explicit request to cancel (subject line: "Membership cancellation").
2. Keep the sent email and any reply. If no reply within 72 hours, call the membership line.

Post - Registered letter

1. Write a signed letter with your full name, address, membership number and request to cancel.
2. Send by recorded delivery to Reform UK, 21-24 Millbank, SW1P 4QP London, United Kingdom.
3. Keep proof of postage and any reply from Reform UK.

Moving / Change of residence

Rule - If you need to cancel because you are moving and the service cannot be provided at the new address, provide proof of new address and a written request. Reform UK does not publish an explicit moving policy. Provide a copy of proof of new address such as a council tax bill or utility bill. Applicable law: Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 where relevant for distance contracts.

Price increase

Rule - If Reform UK raises membership fees during a contracted period and the contract allows you to terminate for that reason, you must notify the trader with a clear statement. Provide the notification from Reform UK showing the price increase as evidence. Applicable law: Consumer Rights Act 2015 where unfair contract terms are at issue.

Death of the subscriber

Rule - Cancelling on grounds of death requires a copy of the death certificate and a written request from the estate representative. Reform UK has not published a dedicated policy; submit documentation to [email protected] or to the postal address for handling.

Legitimate ground

Rule - The party has not publicly listed specific legitimate grounds accepted. Use evidence required by law: documentation supporting your claim such as medical evidence, proof of relocation, or a death certificate. Applicable law: Consumer Rights Act 2015 for service performance and unfair terms.

End of commitment / fixed term expiry

Rule - If you hold an annual membership, cancel before renewal by using the Membership Portal or contacting [email protected]. If auto-renewal occurs, you have cancellation and renewal cooling-off protections under the Digital Markets, Competition and Consumers Act 2024 for subscription renewals.

Cooling-off (14 day right)

Rule - For online or off-premises contracts you have a 14-day cooling-off period from the date of conclusion of the contract under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013. To exercise the right give a clear statement of cancellation. If the service starts during the 14-day period you may be charged for the service provided up to cancellation. Before you cancel - negotiate

How to escalate

Step 1 - Complain to Reform UK using [email protected] or their postal address and keep records.

Step 2 - If unresolved, contact Citizens Advice for help and consider payment protections such as Section 75 (for qualifying credit card payments) or chargeback via your card issuer.

Step 3 - If the issue relates to unfair terms or hard-to-cancel practices, notify the Competition and Markets Authority or local trading standards.

Check final billing

Save confirmation of cancellation and check your bank or card statement for any further charges. If you are due a refund, the law requires refunds within 14 days after the trader has received goods back or proof of return or after the trader receives notice of cancellation where no goods are involved.

Access and data

If membership included app access, you may lose access immediately or at the end of the paid period depending on Reform UK's policy. Request written confirmation of the cancellation date and whether access ends immediately or at the end of the billing period.
