Help centre (web form)

1. Open the RentHero help centre at help centre - submit a request.
2. Select the topic that best matches your issue and choose "Cancel my subscription" as the issue.
3. Fill in your account email and details, add your request "Cancel subscription immediately" and submit.
4. Save the ticket number or screenshot the confirmation page as proof.
5. If you receive a confirmation email, keep it; cancellation is effective from the time you give notification.

Email

1. Compose an email to [email protected] with subject "Cancel subscription" and include your full name, registered email, and the date you want cancellation to be effective.
2. Request a written confirmation and keep the sent mail as proof.
3. If you do not receive a reply within 7 days, submit the same request via the help centre.

Phone

1. Call +44 7361 581828 and state clearly you want to cancel your subscription immediately.
2. Record the date and time of the call and ask for a reference or confirmation email.
3. If no confirmation is provided, immediately follow up with a help centre submission or email.

Postal letter

1. Write a signed letter stating your full name, registered email, account ID (if known), and the explicit request: "Cancel my RentHero subscription effective immediately."

3. Keep the proof of postage and any return receipt. Delivery may take several days.

Cooling-off (trial to paid)

If you signed up online, the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 give you a cancellation period. If you cancel within the cooling-off period, you are entitled to a reimbursement of payments made, excluding delivery costs. If a trial converts to a paid subscription because you did not cancel within the trial, the platform treats the conversion as a continuing contract.
