Company facts

Web - cancel from your Calendly account

1. Sign in to your account at https://calendly.com/.
2. Open Admin Center or click your avatar and select Billing.
3. Choose Change plan then Upgrade/Downgrade and select the Free plan.
4. Confirm the change. Paid features remain available until the end of the current billing cycle.

Email - ask support to cancel or downgrade

1. Send a detailed email to [email protected] including account email, organisation name and request (downgrade, cancellation or deletion).
2. Keep the support ticket ID and the reply email as proof.
3. If you were billed by invoice or are on Enterprise, include a written notice date at least 30 days before the renewal date.

iOS and Android - subscription purchased through stores

1. If you purchased via Apple App Store, open Settings - Apple ID - Subscriptions and cancel there.
2. If you purchased via Google Play, open Google Play - Payments & subscriptions - Subscriptions and cancel there.
3. After store cancellation, confirm with Calendly support if needed and keep app store receipts as proof.

Post - written cancellation and postal address

1. For Enterprise or invoice cancellations, send a signed registered letter to: Calendly, 100 Peachtree Street NW, Suite 2700, 30303 Atlanta, USA.
2. Include account email, company name, subscription ID and clear termination date request at least 30 days before the renewal.

Moving / Domicile change

If you need to cancel because you are relocating and that affects your use, provide proof such as a dated utility bill or tenancy agreement showing your new address and the date of the move. Calendly does not publish a specific policy for relocation; use [email protected] to request account deletion or downgrade.

Price increase

If Calendly increases the subscription price during a fixed term and you do not accept the increase, you can cancel prior to the renewal. Keep the price-change notification as proof. For refunds of overpayments after cancellation, the Digital Markets, Competition and Consumers Act 2024 requires traders to refund any overpayment when a consumer ends a subscription contract.

Death of a subscriber

For a subscriber who has died, provide a certified copy of the death certificate and the account email. Calendly's support will process account deletion; timelines are determined by support response.

Legitimate grounds accepted by Calendly

Calendly accepts written requests for deletion and account downgrades. For Enterprise and invoice customers, 30 days written notice is required for termination prior to the renewal date. For standard customers, downgrading to Free via Billing takes effect at the end of the paid billing cycle.

End of commitment

If a subscription term ends, Calendly processes changes at the end of the then-current Initial or Renewal Subscription Term. For Enterprise tiers billed by invoice, include 30 days written notice before the end of the term.

Cooling-off (14 day right)

If you bought a paid subscription online, the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 provide a 14 day cancellation (cooling-off) period starting when the contract is entered into. If you asked for performance to start during the cooling-off, the digital content exception may apply. If you cancel, the trader must reimburse payments except where the consumer requested early supply and the digital content exception applies.

Before cancelling: negotiate

Research does not identify any publicly reported standard retention discounts or offers that Calendly proactively provides. To request a retention offer or refund review contact [email protected] and include account email, billing ID and a clear request. The support team will review special cases for refunds on an individual basis according to Calendly's policy.

Standard plan cost monthly: 12 x £10 = £120 per year. If billed annually at the advertised annual rate the equivalent is 12 x £8 = £96 per year. Savings by choosing annual billing for Standard: £120 - £96 = £24 per year.

Enterprise starting price: £1250 per month = 12 x £1250 = £15,000 per year.

Key UK consumer law

The Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 give a 14 day cooling-off period for online service contracts and reimbursement rights; this legislation is applied from 1 January 2026 and can be viewed at legislation.gov.uk. The Consumer Rights Act 2015 requires services to be performed with reasonable care and skill and prohibits unfair contract terms. The Competition and Markets Authority (CMA) enforces rules on auto-renewals and hard-to-cancel subscriptions.

How to escalate a dispute

First complain to Calendly via [email protected] and keep copies of all communications. If unresolved, contact Citizens Advice for guidance. For payment disputes, consider Section 75 or chargeback through your card issuer for qualifying card payments. If the problem concerns unfair contract terms or hard-to-cancel subscriptions, report it to the CMA.

Access and final billing

Paid features remain available until the end of the paid billing cycle when you downgrade to Free. Expect no immediate refund for the unused period because Calendly states fees are non-refundable; for overpayments dispute you may be entitled to a refund under the Digital Markets, Competition and Consumers Act 2024.

Data and re-activation

Export calendars, scheduled events and contacts before changing plans or deleting your account. Deleting an account can be effective immediately; Enterprise customers have data deletion API options listed in the Enterprise feature set. You may re-subscribe or upgrade at any time by returning to your Calendly account or creating a new subscription.
