Company facts

Web (direct subscription through Canva)

1. Open canva.com and sign in to the account that was billed.
2. Click your profile in the top-right corner and choose Settings.
3. Select Billing or your plan name, then choose Cancel plan.
4. Follow prompts: Continue cancellation, choose a reason, then select Cancel subscription.
5. You will receive a confirmation email. Keep this email for your records.

iOS (subscription via Apple App Store)

1. Open Settings on your iPhone or iPad, tap your name, then Subscriptions.
2. Locate the Canva subscription and tap Cancel Subscription.
3. Apple handles billing and will send an Apple confirmation receipt. For refunds, request directly from Apple.

Android (subscription via Google Play)

1. Open the Google Play Store app and tap your profile icon, then Payments & subscriptions > Subscriptions.
2. Find Canva and tap Cancel subscription.
3. Google Play will send a confirmation. Uninstalling the app does not cancel billing.

PayPal recurring payments

1. Sign in to your PayPal account and go to Settings - Payments - Manage automatic payments.
2. Find Canva or the payment to Canva and cancel the recurring payment.
3. Save PayPal confirmation as proof of cancellation.

Email or Help Center

1. Use Canva Help via the website or email [email protected] for press-related queries; customer support is accessed in the Help Centre.
2. Request cancellation and include account email, subscription plan and reason.
3. Keep the support reply email as proof. Response time can be up to 48 hours depending on workload.

1. Write a clear signed statement that you wish to cancel the Canva Premium subscription, include account email and billing details.

Moving abroad or relocation

If you move country and need to cancel, provide a proof document such as a utility bill or official change of address showing the new UK or non-UK address. Cancellation follows the standard routes above; if billing was handled by Apple or Google you must cancel via that store. No special fee applies.

Price increase

If Canva increases price for your plan, you may have grounds to cancel without penalty if the change makes the contract materially different. Provide the notice you received from Canva and a screenshot or copy of the new pricing. If you cancel for price increase, request a pro rata refund for any overpayment after cancellation.

Death of the subscriber

For cancellation following a subscriber death, supply the death certificate and evidence of authority from the estate administrator. Contact Canva support with these documents. Refunds are assessed case by case.

Legitimate grounds accepted by Canva

Canva's published guidance indicates refunds are not guaranteed but each request is reviewed. For App Store or Google Play subscriptions, those stores control refunds. End of commitment or fixed-term contract

If you have a Business plan with a minimum user requirement, the contractual minimum (for example minimum 3 users) must be met before you can remove seats. Data retention and account re-activation

Your account remains with Canva Free after the billing period ends. You can re-subscribe at any time via Billing. If you paused the plan, the plan resumes automatically after the pause period with an email reminder.
