Web - cancel via CapCut account

1. Open a web browser and go to https://www.capcut.com/
2. Sign in with the account that holds the subscription
3. Open Account or Subscription settings and select the active subscription
4. Click Cancel subscription and follow the confirmation prompts
5. Save any on-screen confirmation and your account will not renew at the next billing date

iOS - cancel via Apple App Store

1. Open Settings on your iPhone or iPad
2. Tap your name (Apple ID) then Subscriptions
3. Select CapCut from the list
4. Tap Cancel Subscription and confirm
5. Keep the Apple confirmation email for proof

Android - cancel via Google Play

1. Open the Google Play app

Moving or change of residence

If you change residence this does not automatically cancel CapCut. Cancel via your device store or CapCut account and keep proof. Submit proof documents if you request a refund only when local law requires it; CapCut does not list moving as an automatic refund reason.

Price increase

If CapCut increases the price for your subscription, you may cancel before the new price takes effect. Preserve the notice and the new price communication from CapCut as proof. If the increase breaches your contract terms, you can reject the change and cancel under the contract terms.

Death of subscriber

CapCut does not publish a specific policy for termination on death. Contact support with the death certificate and account details; CapCut will process requests on a case by case basis. If a paid period remains, ask for refund under statutory rights.

Legitimate ground accepted by CapCut

Research shows CapCut accepts refund requests within 14 calendar days for Premium Services when no Premium Services have been used. Exceptions include purchases via Apple or Google, where their refund terms apply. For statutory rights requiring a refund CapCut will comply.

End of commitment and cooling-off

For monthly and annual subscriptions you stop renewal by cancelling before the renewal date. For distance contracts, consumers have a 14 day cooling-off period from the contract date but you lose the right to cancel if the digital content or service is supplied during that period and you gave express consent to begin performance. Refund requests under this right must be made within 14 days of subscription start if there was no use.

Before you cancel - negotiate

CapCut sometimes offers introductory rates and trial periods shown in the in-app upgrade modal, but public research did not list retention offers available on cancellation. Access and features

After cancelling you retain access until the end of the paid billing period. Your subscription will not auto-renew. Any content stored in your account remains accessible but may be restricted if features require an active subscription.

Export any projects or media you need before the next billing date. If you lose access to premium export options after the period ends, re-activate the subscription to restore them.
