End of commitment or fixed-term expiry
If your plan is the Connect 12 Basic SIM plan, the minimum commitment is 12 months. After the 12-month contract ends you can cancel before the next renewal. Xplora states automatic rollover to month-to-month after the annual subscription expires according to customer reports; check your account and cancel before the rollover date. Applicable law: Consumer Rights Act 2015 regarding unfair contract terms.
Cooling-off period (14 days)
You have a 14-day right to cancel under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 for contracts concluded online or off-premises. If you cancel within 14 days you are entitled to a full refund of sums paid, unless you expressly consented to immediate performance of digital content. To claim this right, notify Xplora by email or post and retain proof of sending.
Price increases
If Xplora increases the price mid-contract and your contract documents treat it as a material change, you may have the right to terminate without penalty. Provide the price increase notice from Xplora and your account statement as proof. Applicable law: Consumer Rights Act 2015 and CMA guidance on unfair terms.
Moving abroad
If you permanently move outside the service area and Xplora cannot supply the service, present evidence of your new address and proof of move. Xplora does not publish a specific policy for relocation; include your proof when requesting cancellation.
Death of subscriber
To cancel after the death of the account holder, send a copy of the death certificate and account details to [email protected] or by post. Xplora does not publish a dedicated bereavement policy; keep copies of submitted documents.
Service failure and legitimate ground
The Consumer Rights Act 2015 requires services to be provided with reasonable care and skill. If Xplora fails to provide reliable call, message or data service as required, record evidence (logs, screenshots, dates) and complain. CISAS or Citizens Advice can be used for escalation. Xplora has customer reports of call and billing failures; include those specific logs when filing a dispute. Applicable law: Consumer Rights Act 2015.
