Web cancellation - step by step

1. Go to www.hpinstantink.com and sign in to the account that manages the paper plan.
2. Open Account or Subscription settings and find Paper Add-on or Instant Ink plan details.
3. Click Cancel or follow the cancellation link and confirm your choice.
4. Keep the on-screen confirmation and any confirmation email as proof.

iOS cancellation - step by step

1. Open the HP Smart app on your iPhone and sign in with the account linked to Instant Ink.
2. Tap Services or Instant Ink, then Manage Subscription.
3. Tap Cancel Subscription and follow prompts to confirm.
4. Save any in-app confirmation or confirmation email.

Android cancellation - step by step

1. Open HP Smart on your Android device and sign in to the Instant Ink account.
2. Access Services or Subscription settings, select Manage Subscription.
3. Confirm Cancel Subscription and keep confirmation records.

Phone cancellation - step by step

Moving house

If you move address and no longer need the service at the new address, cancel via your account or by email/phone. Provide proof of new address only if HP requests it. There is no cancellation fee; service remains until the last day of your Month Period.

Price increase

If HP increases the monthly price you can cancel the Paper Add-on. Keep the price change notice from HP as proof and cancel by the end of the current Month Period. The Consumer Rights Act 2015 protects against unfair terms.

Death of subscriber

To cancel after the subscriber dies, contact HP support by phone or email and provide a copy of the death certificate and evidence you are authorised to act for the estate. The effective date will be the end of the current Month Period unless HP agrees otherwise.
