Cancel Omaze the easy way

Short overview

Omaze runs paid prize draws where participants buy entries or subscribe to monthly entry packages. Part of each contribution supports charity partners and winners receive prize packages that often include cash and furnishings.

How subscriptions work

Omaze offers monthly subscriptions that automatically renew on the 1st of each calendar month. Plans bundle a fixed number of entries into Early Bird and Grand Prize draws and some plans include access to the Omaze Monthly Millionaire draw.

Web (account) cancellation

1. Go to your account on the Omaze UK site or app.
2. Select Manage Subscriptions.
3. Choose the subscription you want to cancel and click Cancel.
4. Confirm cancellation on-screen and save or screenshot the confirmation.
5. Expect an email confirmation; keep it for proof.

iOS and Android (app)

1. Open the Omaze app and sign in.
2. Tap Account then Manage Subscriptions.
3. Tap Cancel and follow on-screen prompts.
4. Save the confirmation screen and keep the confirmation email.

Email cancellation

1. Download or copy the Model Cancellation Form from the subscription terms.
2. Complete the form with your name, subscription details and date.
3. Email the form to [email protected] (for UK subscriptions) or [email protected] for membership/boosters.
4. Keep the sent email and any reply as proof.

Postal cancellation

1. Write a signed letter including your full name, email used on the account, subscription plan and statement "I wish to cancel my subscription" and date.
2. Send by registered post to Omaze, 27 Mortimer Street, W1T 3JF London, United Kingdom.
3. Keep proof of posting and a copy of the letter.

Phone cancellation

1. Omaze does not publish phone hours; prefer email or web cancellation.
2. If a phone number is offered in replies, request a cancellation reference and follow up by email.
3. Record date and time of the call and the agent name if provided.

Moving abroad or change of residence

If you move and can no longer take part in UK prize draws you should cancel via your account or by emailing [email protected]. Provide a copy of proof of new address if asked, such as a utility bill or new ID. Applicable law: Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 for digital/online contract information obligations.

Price increase

Omaze subscription prices are published; if Omaze raises the subscription fee you may cancel before the changed fee takes effect. Provide the cancellation via your account or by email. Applicable law: Consumer Rights Act 2015 protects against unfair contract terms and unclear price increases.

Death of the subscriber

If the subscriber has died, the estate's executor should email [email protected] with a copy of the death certificate and proof of authority to act. Omaze will process cancellation requests and advise on any refund rights per their terms.

Legitimate ground / incapacity

If you have a permanent incapacity or other legitimate ground preventing use, email [email protected] with supporting documentation, for example a medical certificate. Consumer Rights Act 2015 requires services to be supplied with reasonable care and skill; present your documentation for consideration.

End of commitment

Omaze subscriptions have no minimum commitment. Cancel via your account at any time; cancellation takes effect immediately for future months but entries submitted before cancellation remain eligible.

Cooling-off right (14 days)

You have a 14-day right to cancel from the day you enter into the subscription contract. If you cancel within 14 days Oasis will refund payments within 14 days of notice provided that the service has not been fully performed. If you asked Omaze to start the service during the 14 days and Omaze has fully performed the service, you lose the right to a refund. Step 2: If Omaze does not resolve within 28 days or the response is unsatisfactory, escalate the complaint to the Fundraising Regulator where relevant to charity fundraising practices.

Check entries and draws

Entries received before the date of cancellation remain eligible for an applicable House Draw subject to eligibility. If you requested a refund that withdraws entries, Omaze will remove those entries from any draw.

Monitor final billing

Confirm the cancellation email and check your bank statement for any unexpected charges after cancellation. If you are charged after cancellation, contact [email protected] with the cancellation confirmation.

Data and reactivation

Omaze retains account data under its terms. You can reactivate by logging in and subscribing again. If you want data removed, request deletion from Omaze support citing data protection rights; keep a copy of the request.

Keep proof

Save on-screen confirmations, confirmation emails, sent registered post receipts, and bank statements showing refunds or the absence of charges. These are required to escalate disputes or request chargeback/Section 75 claims.
