Cancel Snap Premium the easy way

Overview

Snap Premium, marketed as Snapchat+ in official Snap materials, is a paid subscription that gives access to exclusive experimental and pre-release features, enhanced Memories storage for eligible subscribers and priority access to new tools.

Who it is for

Snap Premium is for Snapchat users who want early or exclusive features, extra Memories storage and a more customised in-app experience.

How it differs from the free app

Subscribers receive premium features not available to free accounts and may receive increased Memories storage tiers; billing and renewal follow a subscription model.

Web / In-app cancellation

1. Open the Snapchat app and tap your profile icon.
2. Tap the Settings gear icon.
3. Tap Snapchat+ or Manage Subscription and follow the on-screen cancel option.
4. If you purchased via web, follow the web subscription link and submit a clear statement requesting cancellation.
5. Save any on-screen confirmation or screenshot for your records.

iOS / App Store cancellations and refunds

1. Open Settings on your iPhone and tap your name.
2. Tap Subscriptions and select Snapchat.
3. Tap Cancel Subscription. To request a refund contact Apple directly; Snapchat Support cannot process App Store refunds.
4. For free trials on iOS you must cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends to avoid being charged; cancelling on the last day will result in automatic renewal and charge.

Android / Google Play cancellations and refunds

1. Open the Google Play Store and tap your profile > Payments & subscriptions > Subscriptions.
2. Select Snapchat and cancel.
3. To request a refund contact Google Play; Snapchat Support cannot process Google Play refunds.

Email cancellation

1. Compose a clear statement: include your Snapchat username, the email tied to your account and the request to Cancel the subscription.
2. Send to the support route indicated in-app or to [email protected] if instructed; keep a copy of the sent email and any reply.

Cooling-off period (change of mind)

If you are in the United Kingdom you have a 14-day right to cancel most digital purchases from the date of purchase. If you cancel a Paid Subscription in the UK within 14 days after being charged you will receive a pro-rated refund and access ends immediately.
