Keep documentation such as a death certificate; Ubermay request evidence. Applicable law: Consumer Rights Act 2015 for fairness in contract terms.

Uber One does not publish an exhaustive list of acceptable legitimate grounds for termination beyond standard examples. For free trials, benefits end upon cancellation. For paid memberships you keep benefits until the billing period ends, except where Uber offers specific refunds. Applicable law: Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.
End of commitment
Uber One has no minimum commitment; you may cancel anytime. For annual plans cancellation instructions indicate you should contact support in the Help section of the app to resolve billing or refunds for annual subscriptions.

You have a 14-day cooling-off period under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 for contracts concluded online, with a refund unless you have started to watch or use digital content with your express agreement. Uber states you have rights to cancel during the "cooling-off period." Applicable law: Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.
