Overview

Uber Gold is a tier within Uber Pro, the driver rewards programme. It is not a paid subscription for riders. Gold status is earned by drivers who reach a points threshold and maintain required performance metrics. Gold grants driver-oriented benefits such as increased rewards points and discounts on vehicle services.

Uber Gold targets drivers using the Uber platform who want tiered access to rewards. Riders do not buy Uber Gold; riders may use a separate paid membership called Uber One, which has its own pricing.

In-app / Website (fastest)

1. Open the Uber app or visit the Uber website and sign in to your account.
2. Go to Account settings or Subscriptions depending on your account view.
3. Select the membership or account close option and follow the on-screen flow to cancel; confirm when prompted.
4. Keep or screenshot the final confirmation screen and check your email for any confirmation message from Uber.

iOS and Android notes

On mobile, cancellation can be performed from the app. If the membership was purchased through the Apple App Store or Google Play, you might need to cancel via your App Store or Google Play subscriptions page in addition to the Uber account closure to stop billing by Apple or Google.

Phone

1. Find a relevant support phone number if shown in your app or account pages; Uber does not publish a central phone number for subscription cancellation for Uber Gold.
2. Ask the agent to cancel your membership and to send a confirmation email including cancellation effective date.
3. If the agent refuses, request a case reference and follow up by email or post.

Email

1. Send an email to Uber support via the in-app help contact form or to an address provided in your account support pages.

Moving abroad or relocation
