Web - Cancel via Apple ID

1. Go to appleid.apple.com and sign in with your Apple ID.
2. Click Subscriptions and choose your iCloud+ plan.
3. Click Cancel Subscription and confirm.
4. Save or screenshot the confirmation page and watch for a confirmation email.

iOS / iPadOS - Cancel on iPhone or iPad

1. Open Settings and tap your name at the top.
2. Tap Subscriptions, select the iCloud plan, then tap Cancel Subscription.
3. Confirm cancellation and keep the confirmation email.

Android - Cancel from a browser

1. Open a browser and sign in to your Apple ID at appleid.apple.com.
2. Manage Subscriptions as for the web flow and cancel the iCloud plan.
3. Check email for confirmation.

Phone - Contact Apple Support

1. Find local support options from Apple Support pages and call the UK support line.
2. Request cancellation and record the case number.

Email / Post - Formal withdrawal

1. Send a clear statement of cancellation or the model withdrawal form to [email protected].

Cooling-off (initial purchase)

Price increase

Rule - If Apple increases the price mid-contract and you do not accept the increase you can treat that as a material change and cancel. Provide a clear objection to the price rise to Apple and request cancellation.

Access and data

When you cancel iCloud+ your storage is reduced to the free 5 GB tier. If your stored data exceeds 5 GB Apple will stop new backups and you must delete data or re-subscribe to avoid data loss.

Final billing and refunds

If you cancelled under a cooling-off right, Apple refunds within 14 days by the same payment method. Fees paid prior to termination are generally nonrefundable unless Apple’s terms or law provide otherwise.

Re-activation

You can re-subscribe to iCloud+ at any time from your Apple ID Subscriptions settings. Restoring data depends on whether data remained within your account limits after cancellation.
