Web (official account cancellation)

1. Go to Pluralsight canceling an individual subscription.

iOS (Apple subscription)

Android (Google Play subscription)

1. Open Google Play Store > Profile > Payments & subscriptions > Subscriptions.
2. Select Pluralsight or Skills and choose Cancel subscription.
3. Confirm cancellation. Use the Google Play receipt as proof.
4. Pluralsight documentation instructs customers to follow Google Play if subscribed through Google.

Email cancellation

1. Send an email to [email protected] from the account email address.
2. Subject: Cancel subscription - include account name, email, last 4 digits of payment card and reason.
3. Request written confirmation and a final billing date.
4. Keep the support reply as proof of cancellation.

Postal cancellation (registered letter)

1. Write a signed cancellation letter including your account email, full name and request to cancel auto-renewal immediately.

3. Keep the postal receipt and the recorded delivery signature as proof.

Moving / relocation

If you are moving country and that prevents use of the service, UK consumer law (Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013) allows you to cancel when the contract is within the 14-day cancellation period for distance contracts. Outside that period, Pluralsight does not publish a specific moving policy; provide proof such as a change of address (utility bill or tenancy agreement). Price increase

If Pluralsight raises the subscription price at renewal, you have the right to cancel before the renewal takes effect. The Digital Markets, Competition and Consumers Act 2024 requires clear notice and rights around renewal terms and a renewal cooling-off period; traders must provide a cooling-off notice on the first day of each renewal cooling-off period. Death of subscriber

Pluralsight does not publicly set a bereavement cancellation procedure. Legitimate ground

The Consumer Rights Act 2015 requires services to be performed with reasonable care and skill. If Pluralsight materially fails to deliver promised services (for example, repeated unavailability of paid features), send evidence (screenshots, dates and times) and a cancellation request. Pluralsight's help centre does not list exhaustive 'legitimate ground' items; rely on the Consumer Rights Act 2015 when contesting service quality.

End of commitment

If you subscribed to an annual plan the service runs until the paid period ends. To avoid renewal, cancel before the renewal date via the web account settings. Cooling-off (within 14 days)

Under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 you have 14 days to cancel a distance contract with a refund unless you expressly accepted immediate access to digital content and recognised that this removes the right to a refund. If you started streaming paid content during the trial or 14 days with express consent, the digital content exception may apply. Before you cancel: negotiate

Pluralsight does not publish a standard retention discount. User reports show support staff sometimes help with cancellations and account questions; one report states: "The support staff at pluralsight were swift in helping me with cancellation I had no issues doing this as you do with some other subscription services." To request retention options, contact [email protected] and ask for a pause, downgrade or promotional discount. Provide account email, current plan and an explicit request for a retention offer. Key UK consumer laws

Your rights when cancelling digital subscriptions include the Consumer Rights Act 2015 (services must be performed with reasonable care and skill) and the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 (14-day cooling-off period for distance contracts; digital content exception applies once streaming/download starts). If you were not given clear renewal notice or the cancellation route was hard to find, raise a complaint with Citizens Advice and the CMA. The trader must provide an 'end of contract notice' and refund any overpayment; online notices must be given within 24 hours. Access and final billing

After cancellation you retain access to paid content until the subscription expiration date. The subscription will not auto-renew.
