Cancel on the Rebtel website

1. Visit Rebtel account deactivation help.
2. Sign in at my.rebtel.com or open the app.
3. Go to Account, select the subscription you want to cancel.
4. Click Deactivate and confirm the choice. You will not be charged again; service remains until end of paid period.

Cancel on iOS (Apple purchases)

1. Open the App Store on your iPhone.
2. Tap your profile, then Subscriptions.
3. Find the Rebtel subscription and tap Cancel Subscription.
4. Apple controls refunds and cancellations for App Store purchases; contact Apple for refunds.

Cancel on Android (Google Play purchases)

1. Open Google Play Store, tap Menu, then Subscriptions.
2. Select Rebtel and choose Cancel subscription.
3. Uninstalling the app does not stop billing.

Cancel by email

1. Send a written cancellation request to [email protected] detailing your account email and subscription to cancel.
2. Ask for an acknowledgement and keep a copy of your sent mail.
3. Rebtel should acknowledge receipt; research shows a 5 day notice period for account termination.

Cancel by post

1. Send a registered letter to Rebtel, 9 Appold Street, EC2A 2AP London, United Kingdom.
2. Include account details, subscription name and a clear statement that you Cancel the subscription.
3. Retain the registered post receipt as proof.

If you cannot cancel

1. If billing continues after you cancelled via the appropriate platform, contact Rebtel at Rebtel Help & Contact and request a written acknowledgement.
2. If the purchase was made through Apple or Google, contact the store directly because they control the subscription billing.

Cooling-off period (Right to cancel within 14 days)

Under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 you have a 14 day cooling-off period for distance contracts. You must inform Rebtel of your decision to cancel within 14 days from the date the contract was concluded. If digital services were supplied and you agreed the right to cancel is lost, you may not have a refund for the period used.

Unused subscription refund within 90 days

Rebtel states that refunds are not generally available because services are supplied immediately. An exception exists: if Rebtel charged you in error or you have unused Rebtel Credits, you can request a refund within 90 days of the charge by sending a written request to [email protected]. Rebtel may refuse repetitive requests.

Price increase or service change

Rebtel does not publish a specific policy for unilateral price increases in the UK help pages used in our research. If you receive a price increase notice, keep the notice and contact Rebtel support for a remedy. If the change breaches contract terms you can rely on Consumer Rights Act 2015 protections against unfair contract terms.

Death of subscriber

Rebtel does not publish a specific public policy for cancellations following death of a subscriber. If you need to cancel for this reason, send a written request to [email protected] and include a copy of the death certificate and proof of authority (executor or next of kin). Rebtel may review requests on a case by case basis.

End of commitment and ordinary cancellation

Monthly subscriptions renew every 30 days and can be deactivated using the app, website or the relevant app store. After deactivation the subscription stops renewing; service continues to the end of the paid period.

Before you cancel: try to negotiate

Rebtel does not publish a public list of retention offers in the help pages referenced in our research. To request a retention or discount offer, message Rebtel support in-app or email [email protected]. When you contact support ask whether a loyalty discount, a pro-rated refund for unused days, or a plan swap is available. If the subscription was purchased through Apple or Google, also check the store purchase history and contact the store for refunds or promotions.

In the United Kingdom two main legal protections apply: the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 which give a 14 day cooling-off period for distance contracts, and the Consumer Rights Act 2015 which requires that services be performed with reasonable care and skill and protects against unfair contract terms.

Auto-renewal and escalation

The Competition and Markets Authority highlights that hard-to-cancel subscriptions or unclear auto-renewal terms may be unfair. If Rebtel refuses a lawful refund or fails to acknowledge a cancellation, escalate to Citizens Advice for guidance and then to the relevant ombudsman if applicable. For qualifying card payments you may raise a chargeback or Section 75 claim with your card issuer.

Confirm final billing and keep proof

After cancellation keep the cancellation confirmation email or screenshot and your card statement that shows the last payment. If you cancelled in the app, keep the Deactivate confirmation screen or email.

Data, account and reactivation

If you want to reactivate later, use the app or my.rebtel.com and follow Rebtel account reactivation steps. If you want to delete your account data, contact Rebtel support and request account deletion. If you think you were charged in error request a refund in writing to [email protected] within 90 days of the charge.

Immediate actions

Before you leave: gather proof and stop renewals.

• Log in to the Rebtel app or website and Deactivate your subscription now.
• If purchased via Apple, cancel in the App Store subscriptions; if via Google Play cancel in Play Store subscriptions.
