3. Google stops auto-renewal immediately; to request a refund follow Google Play refund process.
4. Keep Google Play confirmation as proof.

1. Send an email to [email protected] from the address registered to your Ling account.
2. Include full name, account email, subscription start date and the explicit request: "Cancel my Ling subscription and turn off auto-renewal".
3. Request written confirmation and an estimate of processing time.
4. Retain the reply email as proof.

Post

1. Write a signed letter with your full name, account email and a clear cancellation request.

3. Keep proof of postage and any reply from Ling.

Phone

1. Ling does not publish a support phone number; the published support channel is email.
2. If you find a phone contact on a third party site do not rely on it for refunds: use official email or store channels instead.

Moving

If you move there is no automatic right to cancel a digital subscription unless the service cannot be provided. Ling's service is digital and accessible from anywhere, so Ling does not list moving as an accepted ground for free cancellation. Provide your account email if you still want to request cancellation by emailing [email protected].

Price increase

If Ling increases the price, your right depends on the contract terms. Contract variations that are unfair may be challenged under the Consumer Rights Act 2015. Keep the notification Ling provides and request cancellation and a refund for the renewal period if you do not accept the increase.

Death of subscriber

Ling does not publish a death-of-subscriber policy. To close an account after a subscriber dies, contact [email protected] and provide a copy of the death certificate and proof that you are the estate administrator. Ling will respond by email and process requests according to its policies.

Legitimate grounds (service failure)

If Ling fails to provide services with reasonable care and skill you may be entitled to a price reduction or refund under the Consumer Rights Act 2015. End of commitment

If you bought a fixed-term Ling Pro plan (for example 12 months), cancellation before the period ends stops auto-renewal but does not usually entitle you to a refund for already paid time. Ling states you retain Premium features until the period expires and there is no automatic proration.

Cooling-off period (14 days)

For online distance contracts you have a 14-day statutory cooling-off period under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013.
