Web cancellation (detailed)

1. Sign in to your account at simple.life or in the app.
2. Open Profile or Settings and find Subscription or Billing.
3. Turn off Auto-Renew / Cancel subscription.

iOS cancellation via Apple

1. Open Settings on your iPhone.
2. Tap your name > Subscriptions > find Simple Premium.
3. Select Cancel Subscription.
4. Apple shows confirmation and a receipt. Refunds are handled by Apple; Simple cannot issue App Store refunds. See Simple's refund policy: App Store refund note.

Android cancellation via Google Play

1. Open Google Play app > Profile > Payments & subscriptions > Subscriptions.
2. Select Simple Premium and tap Cancel subscription.
3. Google Play will confirm cancellation and send a receipt.
4. Refund requests for purchases through Google Play must be sent to Google Play support.

Email cancellation

1. Send email to [email protected] with subject "Cancel Simple Premium" and include your account email, subscription ID, and last four digits of payment card.
2. Keep the reply from Simple as proof of cancellation.
3. If you do not receive a reply within a reasonable time, escalate using the dispute options below.

Postal cancellation

1. Write a signed letter stating your full name, account email, subscription ID and request to cancel.

3. Retain the registered post receipt as proof of sending.

Cooling-off period (14 days)

Rule: Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 UK consumers have a 14-day cooling-off period for services bought online or off-premises. The period starts the day after the contract is concluded.

End of commitment

Example 1 - Monthly Premium at £14.99:

£14.99 x 12 = £179.88 per year.

Example 2 - Annual Premium at £49.99:

£49.99 per year.

Switching from monthly to annual saves: £179.88 - £49.99 = £129.89 per year.

Example 3 - 3-month Premium effective price £9.99 per month:

£9.99 x 12 = £119.88 equivalent annual cost.

Key UK consumer law

The Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 give a 14-day cooling-off right for online services and require a refund if you cancel within that period, subject to payment for services provided.
