Cancel Team Up the easy way

Overview

Team Up is a booking, membership and scheduling platform aimed at fitness studios and small group-based businesses. It combines class schedules, member management, and subscription billing so studios can sell classes, memberships and manage customer bookings.

Key capabilities

Team Up handles calendar management, recurring membership billing, customer lists and reporting. There is a TeamUp Calendar product and a studio-focused product called GoTeamup for gyms and studios.

Web app (recommended)

1. Log in to your Team Up account on the web.
2. Go to Settings - Subscription Fees - Cancel Account.
3. Complete the cancellation form and submit; this will open a ticket for Team Up to process the closure.
4. Keep the ticket confirmation email as proof. Processing requires at least 7 days on Team Up's side.

iOS - Apple App Store

1. Open the Settings app on your iPhone or iPad.
2. Tap your Apple ID name, then Subscriptions.
3. Select the TeamUp subscription and tap Cancel Subscription.
4. Save the on-screen confirmation or Apple receipt email as proof.

Android - Google Play

1. Open the Google Play Store app on your Android device.
2. Tap your profile icon, then Payments & subscriptions, then Subscriptions.
3. Select TeamUp, tap Cancel subscription and follow prompts.
4. Keep the Play Store confirmation email or subscription status screen.

Phone

1. Phone contact details are not publicly listed by Team Up. If a membership is managed by your studio, contact that studio's front desk or manager for immediate cancellation.
2. If relying on a phone call to Team Up, request a confirmation email or ticket number during the call.

Email / Support desk

1. Use the support articles and contact methods in the help centre to open a ticket: Thinking of leaving TeamUp.
2. Provide your account ID, billing email and exact cancellation request.
3. Keep the ticket ID and any support email replies as proof.

By post

1. Write a signed cancellation letter with your full name, account email and request to cancel.

3. Retain delivery receipt as proof of sending.

Moving / relocation

If you cannot reasonably continue because you are moving, ask Team Up support for account closure and provide proof such as a new tenancy agreement or utility bill showing your new address. Team Up documentation allows contacting support to request account closure; Team Up may require the standard 7 days processing. Applicable law: Consumer Rights Act 2015 - services must be performed with reasonable care and skill.

Price increase

If Team Up proposes a price increase, you may cancel without penalty if the increase is unilateral and not agreed in your original terms. Provide the notice of price increase as evidence. Relevant law: Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 and CMA guidance on unfair contract terms.

Death of subscriber

For death of the subscriber, provide a death certificate and the account holder's identification when contacting support. Team Up accepts special requests via support for exceptional closures; refunds or credits are handled case by case. Legitimate ground and special reasons Team Up accepts

Team Up accepts special refund or credit requests for exceptional reasons via their support desk. Evidence required depends on the request and may include receipts, proof of unused annual subscription time, or documentation supporting the reason. See Team Up refund and credit rules.

End of minimum commitment

If your plan includes a minimum commitment period, Team Up will set your expiry to the end of that commitment if you attempt early cancellation. Provide your original contract or invoice to show the commitment length. If the commitment end is reached, cancellation is processed with effect from that billing cycle.

Cooling-off (14 day) - Consumer Contracts Regulations

Where a subscription is purchased online and instant access to digital services was not expressly accepted, you may have a 14-day cooling-off right under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 with a refund. If you consented to immediate access to the digital service at purchase, the digital exception applies and the right may not be available. Applicable law: Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.

Check access and final billing

After cancellation is confirmed, check the expiry date in your account and final invoice. Team Up processes cancellations with at least 7 days notice and will set expiry according to any minimum commitment or final billing cycle.

Data and account deletion

If you want account deletion after cancellation, request deletion via support. Download or export any customer or calendar data you need before deletion because access can be removed once the account closes.

Re-activation and credits

Annual subscriptions may receive a credit for unused time that can be applied to future charges upon re-activation, according to Team Up support guidance. For special refund requests contact Team Up support; if payment cleared you may receive a refund via the dashboard while the account is open or via GoCardless after account closure.
