Overview

AutoDS is a dropshipping and eCommerce automation platform that helps sellers import products, monitor price and stock, and automate orders across marketplaces and storefronts.

Primary users are Shopify, eBay, Amazon and multi-channel sellers who need automation for product importing, price and stock monitoring and order fulfillment.

Web cancellation - full steps

1. Log in to your AutoDS account at https://autods.com/.
2. Click Settings in the left sidebar.
3. Scroll to the bottom and click Manage/Cancel Account.
4. When the pop-up appears click Cancel Subscription.
5. Keep a screenshot of the pop-up confirmation for your records.

Cancel via mobile (iOS / Android)

1. Open the AutoDS mobile app or use a mobile browser and log in.
2. Go to Settings and select Manage/Cancel Account.
3. Tap Cancel Subscription and take a screenshot of the confirmation.

Cancel if you subscribed through Shopify

1. Cancel your AutoDS subscription inside your AutoDS account (Settings > Manage/Cancel Account).
2. Then go to your Shopify admin and cancel or uninstall the AutoDS app in Shopify to stop Shopify billing.
3. Note: uninstalling the Shopify app alone does not cancel the AutoDS subscription; both steps are required.

Cancel by email

1. Send an email to [email protected] from the account email address.
2. Include your AutoDS account email, subscription plan name, and explicit request to Cancel Subscription.
3. Attach identity proof only if requested by support.

Cancel by post

1. Send a recorded delivery letter to: AutoDS, Shlomo Ibn Gabirol St 30, 6407807 Tel Aviv-Yafo, Israel.
2. State your account email, subscription plan and that you require cancellation effective immediately.
3. Keep the proof of posting and delivery receipt.

Cooling-off period (Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013)

Under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 you have a 14-day cooling-off period for online service contracts starting from the date the contract is entered into. If you cancel within 14 days you are entitled to a full refund, subject to deduction for services already provided if you asked AutoDS to start immediately. See Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.

Monthly and annual paid plans - specific refund windows

AutoDS states monthly plans are eligible for a refund if requested within 24 hours of payment. Annual plans are eligible for a refund if requested within 7 days of payment. Add-ons are non-refundable. Credits refundable only if requested within 24 hours and credits were unused. Requests outside these windows are decided case-by-case.

Price increase

If AutoDS increases a recurring price, you may cancel to avoid the change. If the price increase represents a significant change to the contract, you may treat this as a breach and request cancellation and refund for future periods. Keep the price change notice and cancellation request as evidence.

Death of subscriber

If the account holder dies, the estate may cancel the subscription by contacting [email protected] and providing a death certificate and proof of executorship. Use registered post for written proof if necessary.

Service not performed with reasonable care and skill

Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 services must be performed with reasonable care and skill. If AutoDS fails to deliver core services as expected you can demand remedy or consider contract termination and seek a refund. Document the faults and correspondence. See Consumer Rights Act 2015.

End of commitment

AutoDS plans show monthly and annual options. There is no minimum contract length preventing cancellation. If you paid an annual plan and cancel after the cooling-off/refund window, AutoDS may not provide a pro-rata refund except where required by law.

Before cancelling - how to negotiate

Research did not show specific retention offers AutoDS regularly makes. To request a retention offer, email [email protected] with your account email and state you want to keep the account if given a discount or a pause. Ask explicitly for a pause period, reduced monthly fee or pro-rata refund. Mention the refund windows: 24 hours for monthly refunds and 7 days for annual refunds as found in AutoDS policy.

What cancelling saves you - exact yearly math

Use actual AutoDS list prices to compute annual cost and savings:

• Import plan: £26.90 x 12 = £322.80 per year.
• Starter plan: £39.90 x 12 = £478.80 per year.
• Advanced plan: £66.90 x 12 = £802.80 per year.

Example saving: if you switch from Starter monthly to Import monthly you save £39.90 - £26.90 = £13.00 per month, which is £13.00 x 12 = £156.00 annually. Cheapest AutoDS plan by monthly price is Import at £26.90. The lowest-cost competitor option with a zero-cost tier is DSers at £0 per month for its free plan; choosing DSers free instead of AutoDS Starter monthly saves £478.80 per year.

Key UK laws

The Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 provide a 14-day cooling-off period for online service contracts. The Consumer Rights Act 2015 requires services to be performed with reasonable care and skill.

Auto-renewal and unfair terms

The Competition and Markets Authority (CMA) treats hard-to-cancel subscriptions and unclear auto-renewal terms as potentially unfair. If AutoDS applied unclear renewal terms, you can complain to Citizens Advice and the CMA.

How to escalate

1) Complain to AutoDS support ([email protected]) and keep all emails. 2) If unresolved, contact Citizens Advice for guidance. 3) For card payments, ask your card issuer for chargeback or Section 75 protection if payment qualifies under Section 75. 4) If a regulated ombudsman is relevant for your payment type, escalate there. Always retain written proof and delivery receipts for postal cancellations.

Confirm access and final billing

AutoDS states access is removed immediately upon cancellation and no future charges are applied if you cancel before the next billing date. Keep screenshots of cancellation confirmation and your billing history. Check your bank statement for any unexpected charges in the 60 days after cancellation and raise a dispute if needed.

Data and product information

AutoDS retains your data for 14 days after cancellation, then deletes it permanently with no export feature. Manually copy product listings, order history and key settings before cancelling. AI credits, Auto-Order credits, Finder credits and FBA Managed Balance remain available after cancellation and are non-refundable. To withdraw FBA Managed Balance after account deletion contact support.

Re-activation

You can sign up again later, but previous data will be deleted after 14 days and cannot be recovered. If you plan to return, export or copy critical data before cancelling.

Before you cancel, follow this checklist to avoid losing data or paying unexpected fees.

• Take screenshots of Settings > Manage/Cancel Account confirmation.
• Copy product data and order history because AutoDS deletes data after 14 days.
• If connected to Shopify, cancel inside AutoDS and also uninstall/cancel the app in Shopify admin.
• If you want a refund, check the refund windows: 24 hours for monthly plans, 7 days for annual plans, 14 days cooling-off under UK law.
• Email [email protected] with subject "Cancel Subscription" and keep replies.
