Web (recommended)

1. Open a browser and go to your Cookidoo account.
2. Sign in with the email associated with your subscription.
3. Open Account Settings or Membership details.
4. Click the 'Cancel' button and follow on-screen prompts to confirm cancellation.
5. Save or screenshot the confirmation and check your account status.

iOS (App Store purchase)

1. Open Settings on your iPhone or iPad.
2. Tap your name then Subscriptions.
3. Find Cookidoo in the list and tap Cancel Subscription.
4. Keep the Apple confirmation email as proof.

Android (Google Play purchase)

1. Open the Google Play Store app.
2. Tap your profile then Payments and Subscriptions then Subscriptions.
3. Select Cookidoo and tap Cancel subscription.

Email

1. From the email address linked to your Cookidoo account, send a message to [email protected].
2. Include your full name, account email, subscription type and date of purchase.
3. Request cancellation and state whether you are exercising withdrawal rights if within 14 days.
4. Keep the reply from Cookidoo as proof.

Post (registered letter)

1. Write a signed cancellation letter including full name, account email, date of purchase and request to cancel.
2. Send by registered mail to: Cookidoo, Crown Way, CF14 3UZ Cardiff, United Kingdom.
3. Keep proof of posting and the postal receipt as evidence.

Withdrawal form (14-day right)

1. If you are within 14 days of the initial subscription, complete the withdrawal form on Cookidoo's withdrawal page: Official withdrawal page.
2. Alternatively send an email from the account address stating you withdraw from the contract.
3. Expect a full refund when withdrawal is valid.

Cooling-off (14 days)

If you are within 14 days of signing a new subscription contract you may withdraw and receive a full refund. Use the Cookidoo withdrawal form at Cookidoo withdrawal page or send an email from the account address. This follows The Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013.

Upgrade withdrawal (90 days)

If you upgraded your subscription, withdrawal from the upgrade is possible within 90 days by entering contract details on the Cookidoo withdrawal page. Keep the withdrawal confirmation for proof.

Price increase

Cookidoo sends an email before annual renewal. If Cookidoo raises the price at renewal and you do not accept new terms you may cancel before the renewal effective date. Save the renewal email as proof. Cookidoo must provide the renewal notice prior to automatic renewal.

Moving / change of circumstances

Cookidoo does not publish a specific policy that accepts cancellation for moving as an automatic ground for immediate refund. Use the standard cancellation paths and, where relevant, cite a need for contract termination in writing to support your request. If service performance or access is affected, refer to the Consumer Rights Act 2015 for service quality remedies.

Death of subscriber

Cookidoo does not publish a public policy for cancelling subscriptions on death. In this situation send a formal cancellation request by email or post including proof required by Cookidoo; if Cookidoo does not respond escalate under UK consumer law.

End of commitment

Annual subscriptions are 12 months. Cancelling during the membership period stops renewal but the membership remains active until the paid 12-month term ends. No refund is issued for cancellations made outside the statutory 14-day withdrawal window unless Cookidoo states otherwise.

Before you cancel - how to negotiate

Cookidoo typically sends a renewal email before the annual auto-renewal date. There is no public record of standard retention discounts published by Cookidoo. To ask for a retention offer, contact support at [email protected] or reply to the renewal email and request available discounts or a price freeze. State your account email, renewal date and the reason you want to leave. Keep any written offer as proof. If you purchased via Apple or Google, check App Store or Google Play support for any platform-based offers.

Cookidoo annual price (UK) is £50 per year. Annual saving when you cancel is:

Monthly equivalent of Cookidoo is £4.17 per month - calculation: £50 / 12 = £4.17 per month.
