Web cancellation (billed through Dplay Entertainment Limited)

1. Go to discoveryplus.com/gb/en and sign in to your account.
2. Open the subscription/settings area or go directly to discoveryplus.com/subscription instructions.
3. Choose 'Cancel Your Subscription' and confirm. Keep the confirmation email.
4. After cancellation you can stream until the subscription expires at the end of the billing period.

Cancel on iPhone or iPad (Apple)

1. Open Settings on your device and tap your name at the top.
2. Tap 'Subscriptions'.
3. Find Discovery+ and tap 'Cancel Subscription'.
4. Keep the confirmation email from Apple; you retain access until the expiry date.

Cancel on Android (Google Play)

1. Open the Google Play Store app.
2. Tap your profile icon, then 'Payments & subscriptions' and choose 'Subscriptions'.
3. Select Discovery+ and tap 'Cancel subscription'.
4. Keep the confirmation email from Google Play; you retain access until expiry.

Cancel via Amazon Appstore

1. Sign in at amazon.co.uk/appstoresubscriptions.
2. Find Discovery+ in 'Your Subscriptions' and turn off auto-renewal.

Cancel by email or post

1. Email [email protected] with your account email, subscription ID and a clear statement 'Cancel my Discovery+ subscription'.

Cooling-off (14 day right)

Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 you have a 14 day cooling-off right for online contracts. Before you cancel: negotiate

Discovery+ retention offers reported in public data: Vodafone pay-monthly customers can receive six months of Discovery+ Entertainment free as a promotion. No other specific universal retention discounts are published by Discovery+. Ask explicitly for available promotions or partner offers and mention any competing services and prices.

• Free plan: £0 per year.

Cheapest alternative from the competitor list: Netflix at £5.99 per month. Annual cost if billed monthly for Netflix: £5.99 x 12 = £71.88 per year. Re-activation

You can re-subscribe at any time using the same account or a new account. Previous viewing history and preferences may not be restored depending on account status and data deletion requests.
